Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.
Watched the game and part of me still can't believe we won. Lost pretty much every statistical metric but the score. So nice to not be on the losing end of that like we have so many times.
Lots to improve on, but a gritty win. Happy for lots of guys: RGIII first win in ages and played well enough to win Alfred going over 1000 DJax with an awesome fu to his old team Breeland - nice pick Clark and Thomas - not good in coverage, but some great hits today. Earned some respect. Kerrigan - defensive stud. Period. Forbath - showed how important a consistent kicker is Tress Way - you make me thrilled about a position that gets no PR. 3 punts, all inside the 20. You're the man. Trent - you play with heart. Kory - same for you today. Guys played hard and hurt in a game that counts for nothing - and that means everything. We learned a lot about some of these guys today. Bring on Dallas. Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.
Had to work today then had company xmas party, taped the game just got finished with it.
Not even close to being as optimistic as most of the other posters. I want so bad for RG3 to succeed but I dont see the light. He still looked like he was locking onto 1 receiver, easy passes he made look hard. He's slow on pulling the trigger and took off running when he needs to throw the damn ball.If not for Jackson being able to adjust to his shitty long bombs we dont win.{Not to mention on RG3's interception another shitty throw to Jackson,if he leads him its a td}Weve got to get that ball to Jackson more,he looks like he can adjust to anything close to him on the long ball, the guy is amazing. I was hoping that if we were going to win this game it was because of griffin having a great game or leading us on a drive at the end to win it but that didnt happen. He threw one short pass to Garcon and Garcon did the rest. Defense sucked once again,15 rec for the tight end? Even Gannon was saying WTF Haslett? As it stands I would have rather us lost this game on a last second fg to preserve our draft order and maybe even move up a spot, plus I hate the cowboys so so much more than the eagles I didnt want us to basically giftwrap the playoffs for them. The only upside to me is the team seemed to play with heart and not give up,the intensity level seemed higher than previous games. All I want for Xmas is a victory against the cowboys, please please God let the boys lose tomorrow and us knock them out next week

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.
Happy we won feels good to taste a win again especially against philly. Would love to beat dallas next week!.
Game ball goes to Djax, 4 rec but for 130 yards. Dude is just a stud. Plus he wanted this W bad. RK and breeland played great on D.

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.
People have complained about an anti-Redskins vibe by the refs, but one cannot argue that yesterday. Clark even mugged a receiver on the hail mary. But the truth is disciplined teams will always have a shot to win in the end, and they finally showed it.

I will never understand how someone can take this so serious.

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.
Should we send this guy a holiday gift? He actually thanks us, after all. 'Tis the season. I still think I like the video of the Cowboy fan destroying his own apartment in a drunken rage a little better, but this is pretty nice too. This has shades of Samuel L. Jackson all over it.

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.
Snyder's still owner.
Haslett's still DC. Reading about the last game, wow reminds me how much 2012 was about our running game. |

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.
Posted this in another thread, but huge shout out to Trent Williams! Hopefully a life long Redskin. Kerrigan too, he has made great strides this year.
And watching Griffin throw deep bombs to Jackson is a sweet sweet thing to watch! The interception didn't even really bother me. I don't mind taking a deep shot on 3rd and long. It worked out to a 37 yard punt. On good punts you typically gain like 50 yards. I'll take the risk Jackson can make a play for 13 yards.

Trent and Kory both toughed it out through injuries.

Re: Redskins/Beagles post game thread.
Yes they did and earned the respect of their teammates and showed them leadership.
