I'm no moralist when it comes to football.

I don't know this guy from jack. All I've heard is rumor and I've done no research to find out the facts.

From a football aspect the upside far outweighs the downside for me.

Junior is a legit edge rusher. Ryan+Hatcher+Paea+Junior is a hellacious pass rush.

Really not a big fan of this. I'd be on board if we didn't have two second rounders playing his position. But those guys need to play and play now. Plus think how bad NO wanted him outta there that they're paying him 17 mil to get out. We just don't have the infrastructure in place to deal with a head case like this.

If he's a problem you cut him, he's totally low risk. I'd bet he'll be on his best behavior to earn another big payday.

I guess you and I are dense, because I have many of the same concerns. Talented no doubt, and sure it's a limited financial risk. But there are reasons to be concerned with this signing.

I agree...most concerned about what I read about a division within the saints lockerroom and how in come cases he may have been a contributing factor. But I don't know this for sure.

I thought his Twitter rant is petty and a big red flag for immaturity and not being a good teammate as well.

Of course the video speaks for itself...def not the way a man should carry himself...ever. But that's been 2 years ago, things change. Haitian Indiana jones with a belt as a whip...

With all that said, Matty made the best point...u got to believe in a contract year and a fresh start he will be smart enough to keep his shit together and contribute. The financial part is mute ..vet min...no risk. Those 2 things make this a thumbs up. McC is willing to give someone else a chance like the skins gave him

This'll be one of those cases where I need to learn to seperate the player from the person. Wouldn't be surprised if he's looking at a 6 game suspension though. If that's the case I hope we get a good ten games out of him. On another note the deal is about as team friendly as it gets, McC gets another check plus for the deal.

really? wow. being able to cut bait at zero cost is definitely a huge plus if any signs of trouble show up. despite his character issues, he's a huge on-the-field upgrade, even if he's only playing 10 games.
