Re: Giants Post Game Reactions

Positive- I felt the o-line gave ample time to KC to pass

Negatives-Lack of resiliency. We get a 33 yard pass called back on a penalty go out on downs and give up a safety. The Giants? They get a holding penalty that takes them out of field goal range the next play they get 18 yards and eventually get 3 pts on that drive.

No pass rush from D

KC underthrowing open receivers

We are who we thought we were. Same goes for KC.

Didn't watch most of the game b/c of "life happening" events, but got the flavor. Not sure if its been discussed but, from what I saw, RGIII loses that game as well.

DB's still have issues.
Offense doesn't have the QB of the future on the roster.
Offense, as currently configured, is a one trick pony.
Team just didn't seem to have the fire it needed to start out of the blocks fast. Had a chance to make a real positive statement and failed miserably.

Coaching was sub-par.

"life happening"? I'm intrigued

We are a 6 win team at best. We will have games this year where we say "ok we turned a corner" (STL game). We will have games were we say "great effort just simply got beat by a better team" ( MIA game) Then we will have flat out bad games were we say "damn two steps back" (NYG game).

Over these three past weeks we have probably seen our 2015 Redskins, welcome to the season race fans!

I agree with this post. While I think most of the criticisms in this thread were warranted, too much is expected of this year's team by some of us. We have a long way to go before we become contenders.

My anchor is my belief in SM. As long as we have SM, I think we have a chance to get where we want to be in three years. Yes, I think it's going to take three years of hard work. That includes three FA classes, three drafts, three years of trades, UDFA's, stashing players on the practice squad, developing players, cutting the players who don't belong, etc, etc.

Meanwhile, we'll probably lose more games than we win this season. So, I'm trying to stay positive, enjoy the wins, and forget the losses.

So why not trade off a few players for draft picks if u feel that why. This team no a Super Bowl contender, but you fooling yourself if you think without better qb play they can't win 9 or 10 games!! Guys were so open last night it would have open up the run for the rest of the year. Every time would have to respect the passing game. This team is only off b/c of HC and qb. That defense keep it close for a while and Kirk play terrible!!!

Of quarterbacks who have thrown at least 300 passes since 2012, Cousins has the worst interception rate in the NFL. The names that follow him in that category — Geno Smith, Matt Cassel, Terrelle Pryor, Mark Sanchez and Blaine Gabbert — what all these guys have in common!! People like Jay Gruden, Shanny, Sheehan, Doc Walker see nfl starting qbs!!

Jay should start Colt or who he believes runs his offense the best. It seems to me he protecting Kirk just as much as Griff. If I was the coach I start Colt, turnovers are a killer!! This was one the three worse defense we will play all year.

Re: Giants Post Game Reactions

Cousin's arm strength is really his issue, if he was able to zip balls quicker he would be pretty good. 10 yards and under he is ok, I think teams are gonna try and force him to throw it longer now. The offensive line was really pretty decent last night, even with the injuries, plenty of time to throw the ball most plays. Thompson, Ross, Crowder, alot to excited about. I'm worried Trent Murphy will be another wasted 2nd rounder, we needed Gallette bad last night.

People should research before speaking out their ass. Kirk played bad, but doesn't lack arm strength. Now his accuracy is the question.

Re: Giants Post Game Reactions

If you open up the game with a blocked punt for a safety that isn't a good chance of winning game.

Cousins was the biggest issue in the game. You can't miss throws and turn the ball over. 1 of the 2 is bad enough, no chance to win with both. Even some of his completions were behind his targets.

So far, I haven't seen a lot of improvement from him.

He has 13 games to prove he is the right guy. After 3 I'd say he's in the hole. Time to start digging.
