Redskins head coach Jay Gruden announced Friday that Riley will have surgery on his foot that will sideline him for three to six weeks. Per the Washington Post's Mike Jones, the injury is to the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.

According to Jones, the Redskins are preparing as if Mason Foster will start at inside linebacker, because Keenan Robinson, who ranks second among linebackers in tackles, is dealing with a shoulder issue. Foster has appeared in eight games this season, not starting any while recording just two assisted tackles.

In four seasons in Tampa Bay, Foster would amass 343 tackles with 12 passes defensed, six sacks, five interceptions, two touchdowns and two fumbles forced.

Well so far Blackmon and Dunbar have been diamonds in the rough who have excelled almost out of nowhere for us. Let's hope Mason Foster is another one.

We're playing at home and with Romo out, we should do well. Cousins needs to be sharp and he needs to direct the ball to an outstanding Desean Jackson. Looking so forward to this - the whole family's coming over for dinner and the game.

I'd be shocked if we lose this game, dallas can't do shit without tony, if we stop the run we win the game unless we just have a ton of tos.

So Trenton Robinson was waived due to injury, with the hopes of claiming him back and put him on IR if no one claims him. The skins promoted ILB Carlos Fields from the PS to the roster to take his place.

Here's some info on Fields:

Just saw this on F.O.

Our Special Teams are officially good:

FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2015 SPECIAL TEAMS RATINGS

This is directly related to McLovin bringing in talent to fill the ranks and is a good indication we are gaining quality depth.

Re: It's Dallas week Mother Fu#&ers!!

I know that DHall is using newspaper clippings as bulletin board material these days. I hope he includes one about Romo not being done for the year and says: "This is how little the Cowboys respect us. They haven't put their QB who has broken his collarbone 187 times this season on IR to save him for the playoffs. So those assholes not only think they will win in our house on Monday, but think that sweeping us this year is a lock. You wanna earn respect? Me too. It's called a beat down."

Man, I hate Dallas so much. I'd love to see us deliver a soul-crushing loss that they'll feel well into next season.

How about some love for ST Coach Ben Kotwica, as well.

Well I don't see this as disrespect. They will probably IR him once they are officially eliminated. Not the case right now.

If I play on the Redskins, I'd chose to see it differently. The Pukes need to win out to make the playoffs most likely which means sweeping the Skins. And so keeping Romo available implicitly assumes this possibility - and I'd use it as motivation.

Tomorrow is not going to be as easy as some of you think, this game worries me.
