I didn't even say I was for it. Just an interesting thought. Well apparently not lol.

If McVay did really want Cousins, what would it take for you to be for making the trade?

I'm not even sure I'd give him up for 2 first rounders, am I seriously the only one who remembers how many qb's we had to go through to get a good one? Way more than 2 first rounders' worth.

Goff will. Be a good QB and the best of this class under mcvay. That being said. No I want Kirk

Draft picks are the life blood of a team. 2nd and 3rd round picks are extremely important in general.

I don't necessarily want Goff but I don't have Cousins on an untouchable pedestal either.

I didn't dream it up out of the blue:

Is Kirk Cousins Sean McVay’s Secret Weapon? « CBS DC

I think there is at least a chance that McVay goes after Cousins. Might be 10%, but still a chance. The possibility that other teams go after Cousins is probably a good one...

I see Mike Florio is still in the business of posting stupid shit for clicks. I feel unfortunate that I feel into his trap and gave him a click just to hear his latest nonsense.

Isn't it kinda obvious that if Kirk became a free agent, McVay would have interest. What are the odds the skins make him a UFA though? About the same as the redskins winning a superbowl this year.

Mike Florio says we're too cheap to pay a decent qb 24 mil for one year, and that'd we'd rather have a massive black hole at qb in addition to all of our other problems, than pay a guy the going rate for his services.

there was a report a while back that said we will tag him if no deal is done, I'm not buying this, and if we were letting him walk wouldn't we have basically said it by now?

Maybe it's because we want to drive up Cousins' value by making it at least seem on the surface like we are interested in resigning him. I feel like if they just come out and say "we're going to let Cousins enter free agency", then there is no reward to us letting him go. They could be working out something where they get some picks for him as well, we already have the one article speculating that the Redskins believe Cousins is worth two first round picks...

Since the Rams were so patient with Fisher not winning I can't see them giving up on Goff after a handful of games no matter how bad he looked.

The sports media here in SF, were very impressed with McVay and are upset the 49ers didn't hire him.

Who would want that job? Terrible owner and no talent what so ever.

Goff has bust written all over him. McVay really has a lot of work to do over there.

Watched him a few times on TV. He is not all that. Same way I felt about Teebow. I just didn't get the hype.
