Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
Fine by me. He is an excellent player but I'd like to see us go for younger players.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
DJAx Instagram post was prior to Washington making a last minute push.
If Jay is wielding his power more over the organization as a whole, signing KC longterm and bringing back his first big FA will be important to him. Just my 2cents from a far.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
The link says 10-12M, if so, I would have preferred to keep him. Regardless, I don't think the team expected to keep either Garcon or DJax, so it's not shocking to see them go.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
If we lose Kirk and start colt, we are a 4 win team again. If we keep kirk and add a couple WRs we could be OK. Gotta upgrade the defense and as of right now it doesn't appear we are getting any FAs worth a shit. Hopefully poe and Baker sign

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
Hasn't this be the MO of this team over the past couple of seasons thought? I mean aside from Norman, who pretty much fell in our lap, the team hasn't actively gone out and pursuit FAs. I don't understand what would be so different this year.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
Jax is going to lose a step each yr from now on. It's a smart move to let him go. Tampa is desperate because they haven't been good since jon left

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
I love Garcon, was my favorite NFL player but we couldn't pay him 16 million this year. Speaking of that, I have to pick a new favorite player now.
Jackson is getting older, and is hurt a lot, I think it was good to not pay him 10+. This is part of the NFL cycle people, that's why we drafted Doctson. No one could have predicted that fluke injury. Watch his TCU YouTube videos. If he's healthy he'll be good. We will sign or draft another receiver or two. I'm not worried about that. Just beef up the defense on every level.

If we replace Baker with Poe that's fine

Master Tesfatsion
Verified account *@MasterTes 4m 4 minutes ago More #Redskins are signing DT Terrell McClain, per source. 4 yr deal north of $21M. They fill a big need in the trenches.
