After cooling off, I totally agree. You can sign Kirk and continue to expand your core most cost effectively through the draft. If you sign Kirk, you can probably only afford to re-sign one of DJ Swearinger or Zack Brown. For leadership, I think Swearinger would be the right choice there.

Once again Gruden proves his play calling is predictable on 3rd and short at least 3 games this season he’s had shitty plays called.

D Hall needs to go.
I really am frustrated by cousins last drive in regulation...did cousins make that decision or did Jay tell him to throw it out of bounds? That play cost us a solid chance to win...what a terrible idea to make that throw

Who screwed the pooch on that play? Who was supposed to catch the ball?

Jay called in a play for the bubble screen. Kirk checked to crowder for a bubble screen, and Crowder didn't get the check. He didn't know the play call. Kirk threw to where Crowder should have been.

By the way, another dumb fucking HC call. Burning a timeout on that stupid challenge where it was an obvious catch.

From KC post game interview: "We had a run play called, and based on the defensive look they were giving, it was gonna be a tough run to get, and we were probably gonna get stuffed and have to clock it and hope for the best for the field goal," "I looked over to the sideline out of the corner of my eye and saw the coaches saying, 'Throw it,' and they wanted, potentially, an audible, get to an actual pass play," he continued. "I thought they were saying if you just throw it by Jamison [Crowder], in the general area of Jamison, there's an eligible [receiver] in the area and there's no penalty." Lets be clear on this, KC did not call an audible. He did not run the play that was called which was a run. He did not audible to a pass which he said he thought that's what the coaches wanted. He chose option C and threw the ball on a play when his 10 teammates are expecting a run. This is a mental fuckup on the level of Chris Webber and Leon Lett. |
