Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Wright is just taking bullets for Dan and Tanya. He seems like a solid dude but is swimming w/ sharks.
I really don't care about the emails. Not sure why everyone is making a huge deal out of it. It is exhausting. Sports talk radio has turned into TMZ. |

Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Quote:
The Ron culture change was nothing more than a half hearted attempt to take away from the fact that we still suck on the field. “I like the culture RR brings, things are going to be different going forward. With good culture comes good teams and winning. Now we have the right guy. “ Uh huh. First of all what makes RR the patron saint of culture, and even if he was what makes anyone think he can defeat the stink that is Dan Snyder? It was all just more smoke and mirrors. And we all fell for it like we have in the past and like we will going forward with the next regime. As long as that rotten stench of a human is running the show the team will have the same rotten stench. On and off the field. |

The Taylor thing was embarrassing. They should be ashamed of themselves. |

Ya boy was the closest thing we've had to a homegrown legend since DS came to town and they did him absolutely dirty to distract from a bad headline. Wright seems a solid character but even he takes the L on this one. It gets harder and harder to believe that things have changed when they make moves like this.

I watched the Taylor thing on You Tube, It was done very poorly cause it was mixed in w/ the old fossils that they keep trotting out there on alumni day. Yesterday should have been all about Taylor and nothing else. |

Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
Here's a question (in 2 parts) I haven't seen asked.
1) had he not died, do you think ST would still be playing now, and for us? 2) would it have possibly changed our fortunes over the last decade or so? I'd like to think yes to both, an Ed Reed type career. |

Re: Happy Birthday Sean Taylor
I wonder what other long-planned but undisclosed feel good events are out there waiting to be hastily thrown together when the next non-football crisis hits. Celebration of Joe (Gibbs and Thiesman)? Re-enacting the Fun Bunch? Santana Moss Day? Pitch-a-tent With Riggo?
When I tell people my favorite team, the expression is a mix of pity, revulsion, and morbid curiosity. My response invariably is, “Well, I grew up there.” Sigh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
