Re: LaVar not happy
"As long as we're winning, I guess I can't complain too much," said the three-time Pro Bowl linebacker, who started but played just a handful of snaps. "You know how I am. I want to be out there trying to make a difference. I want to help. I thought the whole plan was to ease me back in, but that hasn't turned out to be true."
Wow, a guy who wants to earn his money and play and help the team anyway he can.........what a dick! Boy, you Lavar haters really got me there.

Re: LaVar not happy
They will unleash him this week. He should be 100% healthy and back into the flow. When he is on the field, good things happen for others as the offense must make sure they know where he is at all times.
I think he will be back in the "scheme" this week.

Re: LaVar not happy
PSU - I don't think he was referring to Penn State as not being a great university, they are. It's a great place to graduate from with a long tradition, but in my mind, rarely do atheletes earn the same degrees that people such as yourself do. We've fought about this over and over again, but I think most atheletes don't have to put forth the same effort in the classroom as most students (This, of course, applies to only to players who are studs).
As many people know I'm not the biggest Lavar supporter, I've said it a million times but he's a great athelete that rarely buys into systems and gets caught out of position as often as he makes a huge play. If he's not buying into the system then he most certainly shouldn't be playing. Could this be the coaching staff's message to LaVar to sit down and shut up? Could it just be his knee isn't completely ready? Or could it simply be the packages that involved LaVar weren't called much last game seeing as how we didn't hardly blitz Bledsoe? Whatever it is at this point is all speculation, there are a lot of things it could be. While I think LaVar is over-rated and paid too much he can make some big plays. I just want to see him play more diciplined football.

Re: LaVar not happy
Unless you were there, none of us really "know" what really happened. So let's be careful with throwing accusations out there regarding Taylor's situation.

Re: LaVar not happy
Don't forget that Lavar was the one accusing the Skins of rushing him back too soon last year. I don't think he's in any position to complain about not playing enough and it's not like the defense is struggling without him. Even though, I know many of you (as well as myself) want to see #56 out there as much as possible, I think we're doing a good job of easing him back into a starting role.

Re: LaVar not happy
gibbs on sports talk 980 was asked over and over about lavar and after the third time he said that there are things that we don't know, like lavar had to drain his knee before the game last week.
This obviously means that lavar still isn't ready to play, this really sucks. |
