I was under the impression that for the last 6-8ish years he's been more of a check signer than anything else.
Possibly. It's hard to tell thru the Vinny/Gibbs years how involved he was. I'm sure JG's had final say, but they were all pretty tight. I do think DS has been more of an onlooker in the last couple years than before. That much is obvious.

I'm good w/ our team. The Redskins aren't going to turn it around in 2 or 3 years. I'm really suprised at the amount of people out there that want to criticize MS and BA right now. I'm sure it's the vocal minority. Mostly radio callers and hosts wondering why we didn't go out and get a top QB and wondering what the FO is thinking. It's pretty obvious, they were thinking that we had an old team and it needs to be rebuilt. It's also obvious that they were trying to get as many picks in this past years draft and possible and they didn't think too much of the QB's on the board or they would rather focus on QB next year via FA or the draft.

We're not going to be very good this year, and I'm ok w/ that. I know it's going to be a process. We'll be pretty good in a couple years though. Mark it down.

Malcom Kelly may be done w/football. If he's cut he'll likely have one more stop until he's hurt again & then he'll be close to done. His knee has always been an issue, then his hamstring & now foot. He's got nfl size but his body just isn't cut out for it.

For the last decade, it's been so easy for people to say the same ol' things about the Redskins/Dan Snyder. People have gotten accustomed to not expecting anything but failure from this franchise, so they act accordingly. Show the least bit of optimism and you're labeled delusional. Certainly, they have a little point being that the franchise has shown little or no progress, but eventually it's going to get it right. I think this is the best thing Snyder has done for the team since he's being the owner. I think it's shown in the front office, and it's just a matter of time until it starts translating on the field.

LOL.

On a side note, am I late to the news that the writing is on the wall for HB Blades? Saw some stuff on Twitter (they had erroneously reported him as cut)

Not sure what the depth is like at linebacker, but I think this was written in the sand long ago. Plus, his name isin't as fun anymore now that he wants to be called Horatio????

Al Davis: Jason I have a surprise for you today.

JC: What is it Mr. Davis? New contract? New receiver? Trading a first round pick for Steve Hutchinson?

Al Davis: Better, I just signed your old blindside protector.

JC: Chris Samuals

Al Davis: No that Stephon Heyer fellow.

I'm just drawing attention away from my repeated use of the Picard facepalm picture. LOL.
