Re: Redskins vs. Rams Gameday Thread
I think everyone needs to calm down. I'm still good cuz I know the redskins can legitimately win every game this season. I told you all that this will be a real test and that every point that the redskins scored would be well-deserved because they needed to be earned. After the Lions, who are very physical and aggressive in their own right, almost lost to the Rams - I knew that this would be a tough game.
I just hate it though when a team (or anyone) tries to bully or intimidate to get their way - which was what the Rams were trying to do in this game. I want to see how RGIII responds to this in the next game; the Bengals have a physical and aggressive defense too. This really is an opportunity for RGIII to learn and grow-- and we'll be able to see it the next game if he does. |

Re: Redskins vs. Rams Gameday Thread
I can't get over the field goal attempt. Cundiff is awful from 50 yards plus, his career long is 62, and Shanahan basically said that he has more faith that Cundiff will hit a 62 yard FG than Griffin will complete a 16 yard pass. Wow. I mean, wow.

Kindoy I thought that is what would happen too....but it's just like when you were kids and your parents punished the kid that took the last shot, instead of the kid that started the whole thing....still INEXCUSABLE by Morgan!

Re: Redskins vs. Rams Gameday Thread
I thought Shanny was incredibly restrained in his critique of the officials.

If he was any less unhinged, he'd be on the verge of a Bobby Knight meltdown.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams Gameday Thread
If it's any consolation, the Patriots lost to the lowly Cardinals today IN New England.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams Gameday Thread
Haven't heard anything on Rak. I know he's nursing that shoulder from last week.

OK first time posting today, I had a blast at the game and in stl, the fans here were very respectful, and yes skins fans showed up from all over! As for the game. Defense was so bad I can't even comment really, we were lucky the rams gave us big fumbles and an int in the redzone. We started off on fire and then just couldn't keep it up. Griff is amazing kid is so fun to watch. Overall I was just thankful I got to see them live in person. Love my team we'll bounce back

Rak had his pads off way before the game ended.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams Gameday Thread
No. At some point he came off and was standing on the sidelines with his pads off.
