Personally, I refuse to even go out to lunch with the women at work, even in a group. I've been asked and politely declined, citing "Sorry, I have a lot of work to do".

1.) Their word against mine - never goes well for a man with H.R.

2.) Just the appearance of someone that knows me seeing me out with a woman who is not my wife. I'm happily married and 100% faithful. My wife doesn't even care if I would, but I don't.

We also have this. Every year you do the training, pass the test, and sign the form. It's basically liability so if you fuck up you can't say you weren't aware of the rules.

I guarantee the Redskins probably had something similar. Maybe not a yearly form, but when you sign up I guarantee they make you sign something acknowledging the rules. Specifically for cases like this, they will pull out the form and say "see, Santos/etc. signed the form, it's on them for violating the rules." And if worst comes to worst Dan will say he let Allen run business/football ops and it never was brought to Dan's attention. He's covered.

That’s the DS failure. He will spend money on salary cap and people think he spends money but he doesn’t. Anything coming out of his pocket like facilities or equipment or having a HR dept or hiring competent people who require competitive pay ... basically everything behind the curtain is dollar store. We are like the bengals. Hearing reporters talking about the facilities vs other team is embarrassing.

We will never compete with the likes of the Pats. The Vikings just got a new facility so now I think we have the oldest smallest facility in the league.

Some business side of football news:

@JPFinlayNBCS
Big business news for Washington football as Terry Bateman gets named EVP and Chief Marketing Officer. My guess is that means Ron Rivera doesn’t have to answer so many questions on business ops.

Yep and another retread employee that left and is coming back... Nobody wants to work under Dan. Ron won't last either unless he wins right away

The thought of him standing there with a Lombardi Trophy raised in the air is not worth my team winning a Super Bowl. I want him to fail miserably. So wtf is the point of rooting for them? Uggh.

I don't think you have to worry, Punch. No way in hell DS ever wins a super bowl.

I too am surprised that the whole thing has blown over, and for the most part, it seems like no one cares what happened outside of the fanbase. I thought at bare minimum, we would surrender draft pick(s), and maybe Dan would have to be fined, but i get the impression that the league isn't going to do anything at all.

At the end of the day when the games are being played, are we thinking about Snyder? Never. We're rooting for the players.

This will all die down once things get started and hopefully Snyder just stays in the background. He has a strong HC who is not going to be pushed around. He commands respect, unlike Gruden.

I get that on a week to week basis, and I know it is unthinkable that we win a Super Bowl lol BUT it is the only reason we watch. It is the end goal. So lets say Haskins pans out, RR rights the ship abd the unthinkable happens ... man talk about shitting on my parade. Can you imagine that smug little fucktard hoisting the Lombardi and smiling like “see Skins fans! I told you I had this!” When in reality you ruined football for 25 years for us and than finally let other people take the reigns and we won it all.
