Re: Rams vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

In Zorn's defense...the playcalling was definately improved in game 2....hurry up...shotgun...a couple draws...I have no complaints except the red zone play calling...however, I would have liked him to take some endzone shots from the 20-40 yard line

Its nice to see we have people who can remain positive always looking at what we did right.

This was another game that I was severly dissapointed. Expectations were for us to blow out the game. Expectations were for us to put up like 30 points or close to it. I'll agree if we scored on each time we went to the red zone we would be close to the 30 points but again the Skins found a way to blow it. Found a way to win with the least amount of points.

Ya kow what I think thats it. They are trying to win with the least amount of points. Hell they could get a safety and stop the other team all day. Win by 2 points.

well, atleast we have a few more "preseason" games to figure things out. come week 7 the real season starts and hopefully we can get things clicking. the schedule is perfect for a team like us that relies on the D givin time for the O to figure things out. im actually excited after todays game. marc bulger is a top tier qb, been in the game while, hes a gamer. bring on matt stafford!!!

The Caps score more points is hilarious and sadly, almost true

Re: Rams vs. Redskins Gameday Thread

I just don't see the Skins being a contender. I'm sorry. Yet another game of not putting up points. Especially against a team were we had the 10 point spread. Not getting to 20 or more points.

This week the Eagles got 20, Carolina who got beat by Dallas last week put up another 20 points, NO who we play later put up 40 against the Eagles.

We are just another mediocre team again as I see it.

At this point, I don't see us having any 20+ point games this season.

Unfortunately after game #2 I have to say it is looking like a replay of last season with the lack of offensive production. Again it is mindboggling with the talent we possess on offense that we can only manage 9 points against a crap team. I am confident we can handle the Lions, just on the Stafford rookie effect alone, but it is going to be a good game nonetheless.

I don't doubt the defense will make it extremely difficult for Detroit but I honestly see them putting up 20+ points and us not. Especially at this point.

The Lions have the potential to do that, but Stafford forces the ball like a typical rook trying to make something happen. Our LBs are solid and can shut down Kevin Smith. My only worry is Calvin Johnson smokes Rogers and Stafford hits him for some big ones. Lions D is not the best but they get the job done if their offense gives them some help with scoring or at least some long drives.
