Interesting...Cardinals NOT impressed with Winston after watching tape on him. Then again, they don't use a zone blocking scheme that I know of, so maybe it's a case of him not fitting their system.

According to the Arizona Republic, the Cardinals were "not impressed" with free agent RT Eric Winston's tape.
It appears most of the league isn't, as Winston has made just two visits since the start of free agency, and couldn't land deals with tackle-needy Miami and San Diego. Winston held his own for the Chiefs last season, but has been released each of the past two offseasons. He may have to wait until after the draft to find a new home. Apr 3 - 2:39 PM

Also, the Dolphins apparently offered Winston a 1-year, low-money deal and he wants multiple years with guaranteed money.

Per the Miami Herald, free agent RT Eric Winston remains on the Dolphins' radar.
Beat writer Armando Salguero thinks the Dolphins will get Winston in the fold if they can "convince him to take a short-term -- perhaps one-year -- deal that is not for huge money." However, Winston is still seeking a multi-year deal with some guaranteed money. He doesn't appear close to landing anywhere anytime soon. Mar 31 - 12:22 PM

Winston has drawn interest from the Dolphins, Chargers and Eagles this offseason, but a deal doesn't appear to be imminent. Who knows...maybe we can end up with him on the cheap if he's desperate to sign somewhere. We certainly have the right fit for him and he played under Kyle before.

There was also a lot more wrong with the Saints than Payton's absence last year. I think they're over-valuing him.

Reed might be a great tackler but he can't cover anyone. Still, he's a warrior doing it without being able to hear...a great guy to have on your team...just not starting.

Was talking about Andy Reid being ranked in the top ten head coaches.

I personally like having Reed on the team until there is someone better than him to be our backup.
