Exactly, like I had said before, who would have picked PHI??? Nobody did, in fact even "experts" had them 3rd.

Also here is to the "Smith was only good because of Hill" folks.

Conclusion: "In 2017, [Smith] had a 131.4 passer rating on deep passes, tops in the league. Take out every single attempt to Hill, and Smith’s deep-ball passer rating was … 126.6 — or still the best in the league on deep passes. Hill helped, but Smith was a deep-ball success without him."

Good news for us! Now, let's get that deep threat we need.

That shows that 11 can still sling it around, Kirk was damn good at this too so it's nice to know we won't be losing that aspect

Of course we’re going to get him some weapons. The FO wants their new QB to look as good as possible to justify the whole mess. I won’t be surprised to see them go hard on offense in FA and the draft.

Yeah I agree, u may see them get 2 WR's in FA and 1 in the draft, that would not surprise me

Or it could be if they get the weapons it is just because of a desire to win.

Yeah, I didn't quite get that post either? "We're going to go out and get quality weapons to cover up the mess we made with Cousins!" Um...well, good! To do less would be dumb.

I agree , would have been different had they given Cousins those weapons .

I’m also sure they’ll go after quality WRs and not a converted QB still trying to figure out the basics of the position

Of course the goal is to win, but if you don’t think part of the motivation will be to make Smith look great so they can win in the court of opinion that moving on from Cousins was the right call you’re seriously underestimating Snyder and Allen

The court of public opinion will change little. There are some who will follow Cousins to his new team. Some will still cheer for the Skins but be bitter. And there will be folks like me who are happy especially after just reading Cousins would not talk until March.

A deep playoff run will have the majority of fans saying Kirk who

You’re happy he wants to tour a few teams and make a calculated decision?

I am happy the Skins made the move to get a better qb and are not getting caught up in the idea of over paying Cousins to keep some vocal "fans" happy. One thing I learned after the whole Fasel debacle was the front office and ownership not listen to fans .
