The announcers said the refs this season wanted to call less off-setting personal foul penalties. Jackson showboated when he caught it, so Hall had to do what he does (I actually like Hall) and horse collar him.

Jackson is a punk, and Hall is easy to rope in. Wasn't surprised at all.

Dude, if RG III wasn't ready, Shanny should have put in Cousins. Putting a QB in that hasn't done any real drills or any preseason in as a starting QB is stupid. Cousins is a proven commodity, and is a winner. Also the team looked utterly lost at times. I didn't see another team play Sunday look like that.

Jags were expected to suck monkey balls though. That is a franchise barely hanging on Matty. If we are at that level we aren't going anywhere.

You mean the same Cousins that only played one preseason game?

I know just like the alcoholic with booze but it is all I know with the Redskins; sadly.

What was the score of that MNF game few years back when we got torched by Philly? This is worst!

I don't think he'll ever had the speed he had last season. He'll still be fast, just not that fast.

What could have been...

And he isn't throwing like he did last season either. Maybe that will change?

Re: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles Gameday Thread

Lets all simmer down, we played and coached like crap across the board. Lets use the rest of the half to get RGIII some more rust busting. RGIII is an awesome qb, he tore his ACL, its gonna take a while. Once he builds faith in the knee and starts stepping into throws we'll be fine.

Playing the Packers won't be fun on the road for game 2, but at least they don't have McCoy.

Between Helu, Griffin, and Morris, can't believe who looks the best tonight so far.
