Yep, second week in a row we can say if Taylor was on the field, we would have won.

I'm proud of the guys though, we are alive and will make the playoffs.

Campbell was incredible. Moss is back. The only complaint I have is that Portis was not involved enough, but now we have a passing game the defenses have to respect.

No one expected the Skins to play this week and for the game to be so close. They were all proven wrong.

Offense was great. Defense was shit.

You can't win without both of them working in sync. ST was sorely, sorely missed and Shawn Springs is never allowed to play 1 on 1 with TO for the rest of his career. Doughty should never play anything but special teams. JC is an amazing QB. Was nice to see Moss get back on track with his hands as well. All in all not a bad game. Good to see the offense make huge strides.

If I were to bet, I would say that Green Bay is the best OVERALL team in the NFC. Dallas' defense is WEAK against the pass and I really believe that if we were 100% healthy (not an excuse) we would be the elite team in the NFC.

Helluva an effort today and the no quit mentality really showed its head today. Unfortunately it just wasn't enough.

I agree with most of the sentiments, we just need a little more to get over the hump and we could be a great team. But TO 4 times is inexcusable.

My only complaint is that our backup safties were just so very bad today.

I agree. It was just a mess out there in the backfield. Praylow with his weak arm tackles and Doughty just tackling the guy and not even looking back at the ball. You can tell these guys only play special teams. I almost had to shield my eyes whenever Romo threw deep cause it was only a mess in the making. I sure hope ST comes back soon or else other teams are gonna eat us alive with the deep ball.

Is it ok to say "Game Over" now?

Way to fight boys. Awesome game, JC. You know, Aikman and Buck would have been more than happy to sing Romo's praises the whole game, but the fact of the matter is that the guy they couldn't stop talking about in the second half was JC.

I don't know about that. Even during the first half, I thought Troy made an effort to make the broadcast balanced. Buck was the one that annoyed me. I thought he exhibited excessive homerism throughout the whole game. I was expecting more of that from Aikman honestly.

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys 11/18/07 game thread

Well, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. Major props to Campbell for keeping us in this one, he has had a nice couple of weeks so far even though they've both been losses.

What this really goes to show is how important Taylor is to our defense. Our safeties looked completely lost out there. I really wish he'll be back for next week but that is looking unlikely.
