I guess Dockett still believes that Kurt Warner is still the Cards' QB. Otherwise, he would know that his team will be losing a lot too.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

Interesting, the Redskins have been involved in all these big time in-conference trades:

Quote:
NFL
April 4, 2009 -- Donovan McNabb from Philadelphia to Washington: The veteran quarterback stays in the NFC East, going from the Eagles to the Redskins for a 2010 second round pick and a third or fourth round pick in 2011.

1964 -- Eagles and Redskins swap quarterbacks: The McNabb deal is not the first time there has been a notable quarterback trade between Philadelphia and Washington. In 1964, the teams swapped signal-callers, with future Hall of Famer Sonny Jurgensen going from Philly to D.C. in exchange for Norm Snead. The Eagles also received defensive back Claude Crabb in the deal.

December 1961 -- Bobby Mitchell from Cleveland to Washington: The Browns and Redskins were then both members of the NFL's Eastern Conference. Mitchell, a future Hall of Famer, was dealt by Cleveland, which also had Jim Brown at the time, for Ernie Davis, the top pick in the 1962 NFL draft, then held in December of 1961. Mitchell was the first African-American player acquired by the Redskins and Davis never played a down in the NFL, dying of leukemia in May of 1963.

Well, Bobby Mitchell and Sonny worked out well for the Skins, hopefully the same happens with McNabb.

So anyone else thinks that an 8-8 seasons or less than that means the end of Andy Reid in Philly?

well they're taking his control away so he could be in trouble and the FO might not be far behind if Kolb doesn't work out

That was a weak list. Why wasn't Drew Bledsoe added or even Joe Montana if you're talking in conference.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

Man, I can't believe this shit!!! I thought bringing in Bruce Allen and Shanahan was going to be good for the franchise. But as we all can see nothing has really changed. Bringing in McNabb is a huge mistakes!! We traded away a future player that would have probably gave us 6 or 7 good years for a guy that's clearly out of his prime. More than likely he's probably not going to be with us past 2010. If we offer him an extension then I will be even more piss than I am right now. One way or the other we are out of a draft picks. I have just lost all confidence in Bruce Allen and Shanahan's ability to build a team. The only way this new regime can win my trust back is if they manage to get trade for more picks.

Forget the Harvard Business program that the NFL offers players in the offseason. At this point they really just need to offer remedial English.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

I hate it when I'm out of town with no access to a computer when information like this breaks. I had to find this out via text message. I told my brother April fools was 3 days ago. I can't believe this. I guess I have to change my signature to team Okung now?
