Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Casey Keenum was 11-3 with that roster minus the upgrades they added for Kirk. they had a great defence and kick ass receivers with one of the best running games in the league. Kirk was supposed to be the move to get them over the hump and into the superbowl . . . but instead they regressed BAD with kirk at the helm.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Assuming anyone we signed, signed for a very reasonable deal, who is the one guy you absolutely have to have?
It would have been Robinson for me. Damn franchise tag is killing my off-season. Still thinking WR though. Give me Golladay or Corey Davis. The bridge is probably broken, but I'd happily bring back Trent too. He is still well above average, and he is a future member of the ring of honor.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Didn't realize this but Jim Hanifan passed away at 87 a few months ago. If the HOF decides to ever let assistants in he would be at the top of the list. He also had some good Cardinals teams back in the 80's w/ Roy Green and Neil Lomax when the Cards were in the NFC East.
Some of the great coaches and players that we had are really getting up there in age. |

If they can get Corey Davis for a reasonable contract, I think he would be a great #2. However, it would be smart to NOT overpay for a WR considering how deep this draft class is at WR. Gerald Everett would be a nice complement to Logan Thomas. The other TE options will probably be too expensive. Malcolm Butler could be a good addition to the secondary without breaking the bank. I'm hoping Darby comes back though. Basically can't wait until Sunday when we'll get an idea who they are targeting. I do expect them to add a free agent QB. |

https://twitter.com/swayyrun21/statu...67230736494594 Is Scherff worth 18 a year? No. But I'm not a believer that LTD's start at the average of a franchise tag anyways.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Well, WFT becoming the permanent name is definitely not likely, what do you think ?

Was wondering the same thing. I think they meant both. And just for the record I am totally on board with Wolves or Red Wolves, that W with claw scratches, and howling on every first down at home. Think it is bad ass actually. All the other ferocious animals are represented lets give the wolf its due. |

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Hadn't thought it could be understood both ways... it can though. But the video being about the renaming process and how can fans participate in it, that's the main meaning IMO.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
I've got a great team song in mind. Just need to alter the name to Washington Werewolves, then move the team to London...
