Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread
O line was subpar today. we need all of our starters back, hopefully for the MNF game to keep momentum going into the bye week. JC shouldn't be put in any formation without at least one back in there to protect him or another TE. 2 sacks = 2 fumbles= 7 Lion's points.

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread
I'm still concerned about our offense. We are not showing enough and we should have beaten these guys hands down. We did not do that. I hate to say it but a small part of me is afraid JC is regressing a bit. He missed some wide open receivers today and didn稚 throw the ball away at critical times. I知 not saying he did poorly, I知 just saying I知 concerned knowing we are playing the Steelers on Monday.
One more thing, that man Zorn has as scary temper.. or is it just Halloween? .. Boo! He's scary! |

JC is not regressing at all. The o-line didn't help matters out much today for the QB. But JC is playing great! Most of JC passes where spot on! Keep up the great work. The o-line has to step it up, in particular JC's blind side (Left tackle fill in Heyer) was the weak link and the penalties did not help.

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread
O line was a problem, especially when JC went back to pass with no backfield. Second half CP didn't get any real holes, with the exception of the last big play that ended up icing the game. Have to get the O line healthy during the bye.

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread
Did I see something about JC regressing?
He had his highest rated game of the season! This thread is what's regressing. |

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread
I think it was also followed by a comment about "missing open receivers." 23-28 is "missing" open receivers? Yawn....

As long as JC gets the job done and we get a W at the end of the day, he can go out there and throw a real live pig for all I care.

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread
I can't believe people are afraid of JC regressing. Am I the only one who wants to see Coach Z put games in JC's hands a little more?

Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday thread
JC isn't regressing from what I witnessed today. He is a cool customer and will be a HOF QB. Until the line is healthy though I will say it again, he needs at least one back in all the time to block. That last fumble of his potentially could have let the Lions tie it up. He was destroyed though on that play, no line whatsoever. As soon as the ball was snapped Wham!!!!! We can't have that happen too many times against solid teams like Pittsburgh or the Gmen and expect to win. Thank God the bye is fast approaching and we can get healthy. Didn't think Samuels being out would have such an adverse affect on the O line.
