Again, it is the first game of the season no sense in stroking out yet.

We have a lot to work on, we need to play more disciplined and more focused. These things are fixable.

I don't know what to say about Zorn's post game interview.. Is he delusional?

That was just a bad performance.

What happened to the vertical threat?
Why does Portis look so slow?
Why does Santana look so slow?
Why is the red zone offense still a joke?

I'm glad I am sober. That was a major buzzkill.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009

You know there was too much stuff that went wrong to pinpoint one area as the thing that killed us today. We had no business being there in the end down by a touchdown. And it's amazing how we play all lackadaisical up until there's like 3 minutes left in the fourth and we're down by 2 td's. It's like we have to wait all game just for the light to suddenly turn on when it's too late to come back. I'm just gonna put this one down as a fail all around.

Personally I want to know wth happened to all that supposed "progress" we made in the preseason. Campbell didn't play anything like he did during the final two preseason games, once again our young guys (Davis, Thomas and Kelly) didn't show up, and so far DeAngelo Hall looks overmatched and definitely not worth that 56 mil contract out there.

Heres one also where was mitchell. And why did kelly not play morethan he did? Well unless kelly was hurt and the same with mitchell, then again another stupid game coached by some one who has no idea of what to do or how to coach a nfl game. Also the oline still sucks and will continue to suck till they draft good players.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009

The O-Line was MUCH IMPROVED. Sweet Jesus. He had lots of time compared to last season. They created plenty of pockets for Jason to step up into. That fumbel returned for a touchdown is one. Now, the running holes weren't much today, but Portis to rip off a couple long ones.

I just feel like its the same old story: the defense is on the field way too long. Now that 2 minute drill really looked better and improved. But, the Giants are a good team, and hell, this is a much better performance against the giants than the last 2 meetings last year.

Yes. Very Disappointing, but.....The world didn't end today, and the sun will come up tomorrow! It's week ONE, hope for MAJOR improvements as we go along.

I think it needs to be said that this was a much closer and better performance than the 2 meetings last year.

No problems with the Oline today. Lots of defensive players had good games.

The skill players on offense pulled another disappearing act.

Does Zorn even know how to use the talent he has? What little it may be.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009

i think the online played decent, the int was santana's fault. the fumble jason had for a TD was his fault he needs to step up in the pocket. also jason checking to a run on 3rd and 8 with 8 men in the box was horrible. i know it week one and we lost to a good team, but if u want to be a good team u must beat them.
