Re: Redskins-Ravens: Gameday Thread

I like Beck even more after tonight.

The one INT he threw was abd, but it's a single man route, and will be one of the reasons why Stallworth wont make the team. He gave up on his route, and could of been in WAY better position for the catch.

Beck shows more movement, and I dont understand people saying he cracks under pressure. He had 1 bad throw that hit the dirt to Moss while under pressure. Grossman threw an INT against the Colts pressure last week, and held the ball way to long on an early 3rd down taking a sack.

They both had ups and downs this game, and I dont think beck had alot of chances in the 1st half, but if you want to count all 3 preseason games..

I'm going with Beck

Again, and yet again, who has actually real game experience? I have to admit, Beck looks more fluid and is more athletic once he finally gets going, but that is in preseason and against backup defenders. Two years ago Chase Daniel looked rather fluid and more at ease in preseason that Brennan( and even JC) in the preseason, but it was Daniel that got cut. I have more faith in a guy that has actually been a starter in the NFL to a guy that has been nothing more than a 3rd stringer since he has been in the NFL. Now it would make a great story if Beck could become the starter, but I think it won't be too hard to rattle the guy if I am an intradivisional rival. I say that just because the guy is almost still basically a rook in experience. I am not a Beck hater, but I do want a guy that has earned a starting spot outright, been a starter for a decent amount of time and has a SB appearance under his belt to boot!!!

Beck did look good against the Indy starters.

And again, he started 4 games, so he has been higher than 3rd string. And he will be 2nd string at worst here. Time to lose that argument.

He actually started? When? And I still think he will be 3rd string in 2012 if we keep Rex. QB will be tops next draft.

Did you not watch the preseason game against the Colts last week?

Apparently Rocca doesn't know how to kick it out of bounds. Come on man!

Seems like Ray Lewis cares about the preseason.

Re: Redskins-Ravens: Gameday Thread

Looks like the 3rd stringers just made it really easy for MS to cut them.
