I'm sure if Shanny is out in Washington, he'll have another head coaching job the very next year. The big question would be, would his son come with him?

I would love to see Cowher get back into coaching. Love the fire. And his players loved him and fought hard every week. And I bet he'd be able to pull together a great staff too.

Let me paraphrase a direct quote from a source close to the situation, as they say "God, I hope not. Think we're past that now"

LOL! I think that would have to be a prerequisite for hire.

Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
Shanny said The Eagles did not know the plays. He said they dropped back in coverage and challenged Robert's throwing the first three quarters. He said in the 4th quarter they started playing the run and that is why the offense was then able to throw the ball.
Why would Philly stop doing something that worked for 3 quarters and almost allow Washington to come back? That is the first time I have ever heard fo a reverse prevent defense. Start playign the run in the second half with a 24 point lead. Shanny is trying to make a fool out of Sally because she is gonna repeat that nonsense. |

Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
Would take him as DC or HC in a heartbeat.
And I love Philbin as OC idea, pretty impressive what he's done with Miami's offense and a mediocre QB IMO. THis thread is annoying because (at least with my browser) the last four pages are the same and it's hard to track comments/responses. How bout a part 2 thread for next HC, DC and OC?

Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
I'd take him back as DC anyday! I know he wasn't very successful in his first attempt at head coach though.
