I would make it specific to the QB because I believe its gotten wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over sensitive. Some of the hits the on the QB is way garbage. Alot of acting going on.

I think they mostly get it right on defense-less receivers

Agreed. First and foremost, the QB hits, and the secondly, the hits by safeties.

A strange twist in the Jason Reid show that was cancelled....but now back on.

And in a bizarre and unexplained subplot, someone made prank calls to WTEM this month claiming to be the president of ESPN — one of the most powerful sports media figures in the country — and demanding the show’s cancellation, and nearly succeeded.

While the calls were a hoax, the person making them mimicked ESPN President John Skipper’s Southern drawl and knew enough about ESPN 980’s inner workings to initially convince station executives that they were from Skipper, according to three people with knowledge of the events.

I think at some point it just becomes too ridiculous. I like the idea of either getting rid of the extra point and forcing teams to go for two each time they score a TD, or to institute the further extra point attempt that they tested out last preseason.

Are they going to lower the amount of time per quarter to make up for the extra time it would take to do all of this stuff? I guarantee you that the networks arent going to give up commercial time to keep the game from being to long.

The extra point is already the most boring part of the game, and Irsay wants to add more extra points. The competition committee should vote to have Irsay drug tested weekly. Or vote to change the name of the sport, because its getting less like football every year.

I can think of a lot of things.
Get better O-Linemen.
Improve our tight ends.
Get backs that can block.

Obviously the roster isnt set yet but its not hard to figure out what he means.

which linemen should we have gotten exactly? there aren't any upgradse at RT available. which TEs? clay or graham at $10M a year?

we can still get a back that can block, but i don't think you'd be happy if we spent 4M+ on a new running back either. it'd be silly.
