I pointed out the fact earlier... that we had two weeks to prepare... they had to play the Colts... and we were at home the entire time.... and the fact that A. Reid is undefeated after byes for his entire coaching career.

I'm usually hard on our Skins but man, I don't think anyone could have competed with the Eagles tonight. Vick was just magic. The whole dang team looked super fast.

Granted our D needs some "tweeking" but... I don't know. Youre right about the coaching, thats for sure!

See, I tend to go the other way. I just don't see how you can put this on anyone other than the guys on the field.

I'm sure the "Fire Shanahan, Fire Haslett" calls will come (they already have in this very thread), but it won't come from me.

We're a bad team, period. 8-17 going back to last year to be exact. Bill Belichick, Joe Gibbs, and Vince Lombardi all rolled into one couldn't have prevented this. Not with the players we have.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not putting this all on Shannahan, or saying he should be fired or anything like that... although I am not so sure about Haslett.... but I'm just saying. Coming off of a bye, this is really dissapointing.

The Eagles are a better team. I have no idea why so many people thought we could beat them w/ Vick. Did anyone watch the Detroit game? Or Chicago? I honestly saw this coming, but not this bad of a beat down.

Everyone should be held accountable, from Vinny and Snyder for mortgaging the future by trading away picks and signing over paid FA to Shanahan for switching to a 3-4 when the 4-3 was just fine and hiring Haslett. The only way this team will succeed again is by letting people like Galloway go, promoting Austin, IR Portis, promote Davis for now. Cut all the old players and concentrating in the draft.

I have to agree. We just don't have the horses. Coaching can only take you so far, but the ultimate trump card is talent.

It's kind of stupid that they still run the clock after a delay of game.

We should bring in Jim zorn to coach our defense. He couldn't be worse than haslett, who proved tonight he was as bad a defensive coordinator as we all thought when Shanahan hired him.

Hey look, Haslett oversaw a defense that couldn't get a lick of pressure on Vick. It led to a record setting day for the Eagles and an embarrassment for the Redskins.

I don't really know what could have been done to fix that. Send more guys maybe? Blitzing in a rainstorm almost never works unless you can get a free rusher.

That was the difference in the game. They blitzed and got free rushers, we were blocked all night. Kyle should have max protected and let McNabb go down the field and made it a shootout. Because Vick was going to torch us once the rain started regardless of scheme.

0/10 for third downs. Embarassing.
