Fantastic draft IMO. If we can couple this with a solid FA signing, I think we could be contenders in two years after these rookies get a year under their belts and we get a QB.

Yup. I agree. Appears to be a great draft. Time will tell and it really does take a little skill and a little luck for a successful draft.

At the same time, well played FO!

Jenkins seems a bit of a reach ... but here is hoping they know what they are doing with him.

Well I really hope they address the interior offensive line in FA. I really want Rabach gone, good dude but I'm tired of seeing get trucked over by Jay Ratliff

I have read a time or two that the SKins are expected to look to FA for experienced O-line help as quality Lineman are expected to be available and the Skins are in good shape cash-wise. AND it appears from their picks over the last couple of days that it may be true.
ASS-KICKIN' draft for the Skins. I have forgotten what it is like to be interested in the draft....as we usually have so few picks.
We filled some needs with quality guys that should be immediate starters, and got some guys that can help out in relief or at least create excellent competition in camp.
Very excited about the upcoming season. We got much younger, and hopefully found a diamond or two in the rough in later rounds as well!

Oh and BIG move choosing so many team leader and character guys. Blue collar workman players. The Pats/Steelers/Colts...etc have done ok with that philosophy.

For th most part, OK? But...

Niles Paul: Niles Paul's incident discouraging - Big 12 Blog - ESPN

and Maurice Hurt: Report: former Gators OL Maurice Hurt failed drug test at NFL combine - Orlando Sentinel

Not to argue, but just saying... they aren't all character guys.

Perhaps I generalized a bit to much.....
Anyway, as others have pointed out, I think it represents...and reinforces Shanny's philosophical change in the teams attitude of TEAM first and I like it. I also think they are tired of dealing with assholes and prima donnas.....who can blame them. So am I!

Shanny must either be satisfied with the quality of the OL or be getting ready to move some veterans in because he drafted a bunch of WRs and RBs but nobody really for the offensive trenches

Helu could be a starter day 1, 4.4 speed and is a great fit for our system.. I still think ATV will be the guy but don't rule it out

Iono man, I never watched Helu in school, but based on his highlight reels, Im not really impressed with certain aspects of his game. He has decent acceleration, but I wish he was quicker. I seen a few other RBs that I liked better than him. I wish the giants didnt pick up Scott form MD. Royster doesnt seem to have that break away speed neither. We need someone who is going to take to the house on open runs. Im so pissed at the dumbazz Cardinals for taking Ryan Williams, we almost got him.

I liked the draft overall with the exception of addressing the offensive line, particularly finding a replacement for Rabach.

This wasnt a particularly strong draft for Oline outside a couple tackles, couple guards/center. SS has said we got a couple guys targeted all ready in free agency.

My only disappointment with this draft was no NT choice. This draft offered a variety of options with the NT position and we walk away with no choices. Every different type of sizes, styles, etc. and we got zero. Kemo is done. I like keeping Bryant under contract and in the rotation, but we desperately need someone in there to help. Hopefully free agency can yeild us someone.

Neild is our [backup] NT choice.
