Grossman - a few
Beck - a few
Orton - a few
Jackson - a few
Palmer - maybe more than a few
Young - maybe more than a few

We're screwed either way until we get a hot shot first round QB.

I don't know how Beck will play out, but I am rooting for him. Seems like he has the drive to be the Redskins QB:

Me too...its probably a long shot, but he definitely is someone Im pulling for. Would be a cool story if he turns out to be something...just heard an interview with him on 980 and he says everything right to make you believe in the guy...I hope he can put it together....

I'm also very open to trying to get kyle orton...and I don't know but I'm not totally opposed to vince young. The guy wins.

There was only one problem. According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, the guard at the gate didn’t know who he was.

“I’m OK with that,” Beck said. “I haven’t done anything yet.”

It wouldn’t have mattered if Beck was a more recognizable face, however. Players aren’t allowed to report to the team facilities until Tuesday, a piece of information that left Beck, per Jones, “slightly disappointed, but not offended.”

What a great story this will be if it works. Still we've seen it coming from to far away. Aren't Cinderella stories suppose to come at you from the middle of no where? :FIREdevil

I can't figure out yet if it's a great story. If he does succeed, is he the 2nd round pick who's finally getting his shot or is he the 2nd round pick who's finally taking advantage of his shot?

I guess to me it seems many see him as some late round/FA not what he really was, a fairly highly touted 2nd round pick

Drew Brees was a great story in 2004 and 2005 so I imagine if Beck played well he would be held in similar esteem.

Keep in mind that all this "Beck is the starter" hype has come about from very unnoficial channels and during a lockout. If Grossman leaves I'd still be very surprised to see Beck start.

Grossman will be signed. The real question is will Beck beat out Grossman in camp. It's either going to be one or the other. I don't see another QB coming in here without any OTAs or other prep-work and beating those two guys who've had experience under Kyle's system.

Well, Kurt Warner stole the "nowhereness" of the Cinderella story. The task of proving the doubters wrong remains for the QB though.

Beck on radio said Skins have told him that they are re-signing Rex and that there will be an open competition for QB, nothing that we didn't really know but the communication line is open at least
