Yeah man, Campbell was killing me out there giving up 11 4th quarter points. I was yelling at the TV when he gave up those long receptions. I mean, what was he doing? How he didn't stuff the run at all even when the Eagles kept running in the same gap and gashing our defense was ridiculous!

You were saying?

this was a team loss. coaching, offense and defense. but when a play has to be made jc seems to always fall short and that was the difference today. mcnabb made some stick throws when it was needed and ours threw it in the dirt when the game was on the line. i thought jc played ok but mcnabb was better.

Agreed. My post was in reaction to saying he 'choked'. I don't know how the defense giving up an 11 point lead equates to him 'choking'.

I agree. Jason Campbell is a mediocre quarterback. He lacks the one thing that makes quarterbacks great, and that is a killer instinct. Campbell is way to content with just managing the game, he plays scared and he is afraid of taking chances and I believe that stems form his very conservative coaches (Gibbs, Zorn). I wanted to give Campbell a fair chance, but I have come to the conclusion that he will always just be an okay QB and he will never lead this team deep into the playoffs. It is time to start looking elsewhere for a quarterback.

couldn't agree with you more, but if we had a solid line and a good running game we could win with him. but nothing will ever fix his innaccuracy.

The offense wasn't as good as the score. The opening kick and the INT put up points that we might not have gotten otherwise. Those two situations lead to 10 of our points, leaving us at a potential 14 otherwise.

The playcalling was looking good until we were into the second half. You NEVER get satisfied with a single score lead because ANYTHING can happen on any given play. I'll put it on the playcalling more than the O alone though.

I don't know where some of you come up with these things, blind hatred speaking I guess...it's laughable.

2009 through 11 games for Campbell:
1st half - 66.1 rating, 59.3 comp%, 1,066 yds, 4 TD, 8 INTs
2nd half - 103.8 rating, 71.4 comp%, 1,291 yds, 8 TD, 3 INTs

He's FAR better in the second half in late in games. Several times this season, he's brought the team back from being down big in the first half to make the games close at the end.

i do not dislike jc and would like to see him here next year, he will be our best option

but to call it blind hatered is kind of laughable, because you are kind of blindly in love with him

read your last paragraph, you said it yourself, he has brought the team back to get it close, this isn't peewee close doesn't count.

thomas boswell had a great article today in the post i'm pretty sure it's on the homepage here, and it basically says you can't call for campbells head he is our best option, granted he's not the best in the leaguge he is what we have now and what we should have next year, instead of a rookie qb becoming overwhelmed

Meanwhile, Jay Cutler throws his 100th interception of the year.

On the bright side, it's almost all over my friends. Then we can keep our eyes on the one team in D.C that does something, the Capitals.

So Prince is at the Vikings game. Check this out, he's in skybox by himself..no kidding.

I wonder if he's going to sing Purple Rain if the Vikes win.
