^ I don’t see what that has to do with anything about him playing QB at a high level. Everyone has their own routines or quirks.

I admit I don't know all the details about this discipline of his, but I don't think all the other QBs in the league have to do this in order to perform at the highest level.
Seems a bit strange to me too, that someone would plan each day out to the minutes. That would drain the crap out of me. Kirk just seems like an uptight, overly structured human being. IDK, I just prefer someone like a Russell Wilson, Watson or Wentz type of QB, where they aren't so scripted and can make big plays and break a defense down on their own. I sorta feel like Gruden wants a guy like that too and is why they got Smith.

I would agree with you if that's the way Kirk has lived his entire life, but that's not the case. He brought that into his life after he had those stint of games where he was throwing a lot of interceptions and was benched for a while. That offseason is when he went out and found this new routine that he uses.

Worked for Jerry Rice. Obviously has worked for Tom Brady. There's just some people who thrive with structure and others who are more freelancers. I don't really see it as strange. If my day is not planned out (maybe not to the minutes, but to an extent), then I'll wind up wasting a lot of time posting on internet forum........eh......nevermind.

If it works for him I don’t get the big deal, it sounds odd but who cares

Actually, he's gone so I don't really care, and I would even say this method that he uses is working 100% if we didn't have those crucial games at the end of the last 3 years, where apparently "this method of structure" was not working as well as it works for Tom Brady.

Good luck to Kirk I wont care who he plays for TBH, he's not a redskin so I'm over it now. On to Alex and the O/S for me.

There’s no way to definitively link those two things together

What happens when things don't go as planned?

QBs need to adapt on the fly at times.

I really hope the NFL collectively decides the QB situation as far as pay is becoming as untenable as rookie salaries were and says enough and Cousins and his agent are the first ones to get the memo.

I always got the feeling the last couple of years Cousins was playing for stats not wins.

Re: The FINAL Kirk Cousins Saga thread. 5.0

Latest Rumor out of Denver is they will pursue AJ Mccarron if he becomes available

https://247sports.com/nfl/denver-bro...-UFA-115112949

Also PFT reported they will keep both Sanders and Thomas if possible.

So that tells me they will most likely draft Baker at 5 who they have spent a ton of time with this O/S already.
