If Betts was doing this earlier in the year when they still could have added him to the Pro Bowl ballot he might have had a shot.

Great point...same logic that went into Romo getting a plane ticket to Hawaii too.

Yup...if Rohomo was on ANY other team, he probably wouldn't get a trip to the Pro Bowl.

If NFL Network isn't running, "Who is Tony Homo?" if his name isn't mentioned every other breath during even non-Cowboy games, he wouldn't be going, hence the reason the Pro Bowl is a joke.

Re: Death, Taxes, and Samuels in the Pro Bowl

Chris Cooley C'mon I really like the guy and hey he owns our team but if you compare him with the other TE (because he's a TE discaised asa H-back) he isn't in the top 2

C.Cooley 45 rec 608 yds 5td
A.Crumpler 47 rec 677 7 td
J.Shockey 64 rec 626 7td
J.Witten 54 rec 642 1td

It's clear that just plai nstats both Shokey and Crumpler have had a better year and deserv their election I could also agree that Cooley deserves the first alternate spot more than witten.

Also the S.Taylor comment he's a guy with a lot of potential but he has had a bad year he has taken a lot of bad angles has given up tons of TD, missed tackles you can't say he's having a better year than last year.

You can say anything about roy but he leads the nfl safeties in Turnovers with 7 5 int 2 FR

S.Taylor 94 Tkl 71 solo 1 int 3 FF
B.Dawkins the FSthat it's going has 87tkl 67 solo 1sack 3 int 4FF

And Dawkins hasn't given as many TD is that stat would be shown

Just a fyi, Cooley is officially a TE now. Saunders' offense doesn't use the H-back.

OK, then I choose McNabb. He's played in as many games, has more TDs, fewer INTs, and more yardage.

As for Roethlisberger, the only game he didn't play was the opener (he missed the first game, played most of the 2nd, and then was rested the final game of the season). So, he played in 13 out of 14 games, as opposed to 9 out of 14. That's a big difference.

Romo is going to the pro bowl on the strength of his team. Vick is staying home for the opposite reason. If you compare the two INDIVIDUALS, then I can't see how anyone can say Vick is worse -- he's got 1000 rushing yards! Hello! That's three zeros. I don't care if he's a QB -- he's accounted for moving the ball the entire length of the field 10 times!

See, if this was the case, why isn't Betts getting mentioned for the Pro Bowl? His past few games have been PHENOMENAL, so why not him?

Too late to get him added to the ballot, even then the backs in the NFC are too deep, Westbrook got shafted.

You need 5 games as a starter to be consider and in those 5 games he ahs to show more and convince more people that the other guys that have played the hole year.

Like L.Jhonson did last year in the 9 games he started.

Romo is the only qb that hasn't sucked other than brees and bulger, that's why he went. There is no one else, Vick never deserved it in other years, why this year?

I can live with TO getting snubbed. Sucks for him but when you act like an ass on a weekly basis you're not going to win many people over. Seriously, this guy is all about drama. He's a soap opera, I really can't wait to see him retire.

I think with a healthy McNabb, Romo still get's in. Yes, even over Bulger.

I'm sure he got tons of support from fans, but you have to consider his peers voted too.
