What are you up to? I see that you went to UVA, which is an awesome school.
First year associate at a firm in DC. UVA was great, but graduation wasn't much of a relief knowing that the bar was right around the corner. Then finishing the bar wasn't much of a relief since you don't know if you passed. But the day I found out I had passed was a great one.

I hear you about living in a medium-sized market and being able to buy a nice house and not have a bad commute. The decision to come back to DC was a tough one with offers in other cities like Denver and Charlotte.

Where do you live in scranton / what year are you?

A really good friend of mine is a junior up there. I underestimated that school until I went up to visit, and I had a blast.

I soon learned, you don't know Scranton, if you haven't waited out in the cold for a "fat bitch" from a shady van. I have never been more drunk in my entire life that night.

(the fat bitch is a sub with mozz. sticks, chicken fingers, and french fries all covered with marinara sauce.... If you're drunk, nothing has ever tasted better)

Re: Where did everybody go to school?

When I was drunk, I usually went for the French Fries w/ gravy (also known as FFG).
My favorite food from the area was Old Forge double crust white pizza.

I'm 43 years old. I lived all over Scranton (Green Ridge and the Hill section) Dunmore and Clarks Summit.

Scranton's claim to fame was that it had more bars per capita than any other city in the US... I've been to more than my share of them...
Alas, I moved to CT after college and don't get back home too often anymore.

Heyna or no... Duh U was a great school.
Amybody from Old Forge... please send a tray of white. Arcaro and Genell's, Ghigiarelli's or Revello's preferred.
