Re: Your MVP this year?
I like the Portis passer rating guy. I think portis should be all time qb and just run the ball every play and if he is going to get sacked just throw the ball.

Re: Your MVP this year?
i don't really think anyone stands out enough to be an MVP... cooley's been the most consistent though.

Re: Your MVP this year?
Hrm, this is tough for me. No one stands out. I'm not feeling Portis, he's disappeared in too many games to get my MVP. I'd like to say Cooley, but he's white and I hate the white devil, him and that pale ass Todd Collins.

2. London Fletcher

Re: Your MVP this year?
Sean Taylor helped us get off to a hot start. No one else has really seperated from the pack, so he gets my vote.

Re: Your MVP this year?
It has to be Collins. The only reason Portis and the WRs are now succeeding is because TC keeps things moving fast on O. Without him at the helm this team would never be in the playoff drivers seat.

Re: Your MVP this year?
The MVP is our Defense without a question. And one man standing out on Defense day in and day out is Fletcher. He has been the rock in the core of our Monster D.

And though Collins didn't make any big mistakes against the G-men, I don't think he singlehandedly won us that game either. If I recall, Collins completed the fewest passes for a team that won the game since WWII. That was Portis and the D who won that game. I love what Collins has done and he should start the rest of the way, but to give all of the credit for a possible playoff appearance to a guy who has played in 3 games and played really well in just 2 is unfair. This TEAM has put itself in position to win. All phases of the game are in better shape than they were 4 weeks ago and THAT is why we are in position for a playoff appearance. |

Re: Your MVP this year?
I honor of Taylor, I would give him the MVP. His tragic death has been the team's rallying cry.

Re: Your MVP this year?
Bubba Tyer for his work this year as head trainer/hamstring pull healer.
But if we're picking a player--I would say Chris Cooley. He's been a stud all year and our #1 offensive option due to our deficiencies at WR. Whether it is Campbell or Collins as QB; Cooley has served as their ultimate security blanket, especially on 3rd down and in the red zone. |

This team was going nowhere and then Collins comes in and gets an offense (that was otherwise pathetic) moving and moving well, wins all his starts which puts the Skins in the drivers seat for their playoff chances. On a team of players that have underachieved (for various reasons too numerous to list here) all season to finally have a player overachieve is great and thats why he gets my vote. |

Daniel Snyder for taking the entire club down to Florida to be at Sean's funeral.

I'm all for TC - he's been awesome and has proved himself an incredibly valuable member of the team as a stand-in QB and a mentor to Campbell. Attributing the teams success to Collins and Collins alone is treading on Post Hoc territory. It's like arguing that when I walked outside, it started raining, therefore my walking outside CAUSED the rain. Yeah, the timing is odd and makes you wonder, but you can hardly attribute causal power for the entire team turning around to Collins' play.
