Re: Jerome Mathis signed
If the front office wanted to give the media and fans some excitement in an otherwise dull offseason, mission accomplished.
This is definitely a head scratcher. Does Mathis really fill a hole in the Skins' roster? Punt returner, maybe.... All this is even more mysterious given his off-field record. I'm eager to have Zorn and/or Cerrato weigh in on this acquisition.

Re: Jerome Mathis signed
I'm wondering if they're inclined to give Rock a couple of extra carries this year and in doing so will have Mathis as KRing insurance should anything happen.
Doubtful. He's probably here temporarily as a "just in case" and as a burner that can run routes for JC during minicamp if Moss is having hammy problems.

Re: Jerome Mathis signed
Bad signing. I wish everyone would just agree to stay away from players who've been arrested for: DUI, Drug Possession/Use or Violence Against Women. Also, regarding the fight with the tight end, I seem to remember another questionable character at wr that was involved in practice field fight: Michael Westbrook. Baaaaad signing.

Re: Jerome Mathis signed
Wow, and it gets worse. Sean T didn't choke his girlfriend... he was defending HIS stolen property (and was caught up in the process)... kind of like he was defending his family when he was KILLED!!!!!!!!!!!!! To use ST as a comparison to this guy? Are you kidding me???? He loved his girlfriend AND his daughter!!! Not to mention the love we all feel for him as a Redskin??
Go have a few drinks with some others on this board that seem to share your opinion. You guys can have your fun. I've seen and heard quite enough.... Ciao. |

Re: Jerome Mathis signed
Everybody, deserves a second chance. I am glad to see that the Redskins are taking a chance on a guy like this. If you are looking to find a diamond in the ruff, you will have to do alot of shaping and polishing, before it is a finished product. I hope it works out.

I do think you are going too far however in saying members should go and have a drink with other people. Many males on this board agree with you hess and you dont have to turn everything into a personal vendetta against this site.

BUT, since you weren't reading, apparently, the guy said he would want nothing to do with someone getting a DUI on our team. Sean got a DUI. He managed to get his way out of it however. That's what I was referring to and it is pretty clear, I even bolded the relevant text, nice try though bud. |

"Walkin in a winter wonder land"(lulz). I grew up listening to Johnny Mathis around Christmas time. Lots of great memories.
