The Wrestler was another recent one that got me, as was Gran Torino.

Oh man...forgot about that. I can watch all sorts of grusome things on TV, nothing makes me flinch...but I HAD to turn away when that happened. It haunted my dreams after I watched it, now it's going to again. It made me like the movie less and I never watched it again, just like I'll NEVER watch Marley and Me again.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks (if not months) afterward. And each time I thought about it my reaction to the movie was more intense. The way it end just haunts you, probably the most powerful ending to a movie ever (near the top is The Ice Storm)

Toy Story II when the teenage girl puts her favorite cowboy doll in the card board box, and the doll is all happy thinking that the girl is going to take the doll on some kind of play adventure. That's also pretty funny only for 2 reasons:

1. The entire time the girl cowboy has a crazy smile on her face.
2. They just left it like that. Who abandons a doll? Or did they donate it?

I think the doll was donated.

Yeah her smile starts to desolve when she realizes that the girl just left her and isn't coming back.
