A bunch of haters. The guy spent time to collect money for a cause, and its working.
Stop hating; if you dont think its a worthy cause donate for something else. I am not paying for it, but I am not gonna rag on him/

Also isn't he essentially panhandling for money to give to a charity? Is that still considered philantropic? Anyway...I'm indifferent to the efforts here but I would be interested to see if the goal is reached.

Re: Sell OUR Team Danny Boy - DC Metro Bus Ads
I've only been a fan for 25 years, but this team has to be the most ridiculous I've ever seen. What will be even more mind-numbing to me, than the last few weeks of the Skins offense, if Dan Snyder keeps making football decisions which he should never be making in the first place.
If he is successful, post pictures. I think his meddling is a royal waste of time/money, but some people think he can be successful. |

The "Sell OUR team" thing is a bit melodramatic and will have absolutely zero effect on anything that goes on in Redskin Park. But it's a free country. Good luck with the effort.

Not to beat a dead horse, but Thanksgiving/Christmas are coming up. do you know how many homeless shelters, foster homes and juvenile centers could use $8,000 and really make a difference at this time of the year? |

Re: Sell OUR Team Danny Boy - DC Metro Bus Ads
I don't quite get the assumption that selling the team would make things better anyway. I mean I get it he's the "worst owner in sports" but are you telling me that every potential buyer would be better?
Maybe we'd get an owner who doesn't want to invest any money on the team, maybe we'd get one who actually wants to coach the team like Ted Turner tried with the Atlanta Braves (if I remember right), maybe we'd even get one who wants to move the team

Re: Sell OUR Team Danny Boy - DC Metro Bus Ads
Do you get full use of the billboard or will there also be space for CBS to promote the Lavar and Chad show (or whatever it's called) on 106.7 FM The Fan?

The are very pro free speech. They recently ran a "atheist ad" and do controversial ads. Also the reason why we decided on the bus ads was due to billboards being outrageously expensive in the DC area (25-40k). Flying a plan with a banner is several thousand only last one day, one time. Put adds on trucks is several hounded a day and is only on 1 truck. Basically the cost of 10 buses for 4 weeks was by far the most "economical" thing to do. $453! Over 5% Keep it coming!
