Tell your friends...
glad you have 300 to donate to your cause (I assume the 300 is like putting bills in the tip jar).

You aren't from Nigeria are you?

PS yes I think it's a stupid campaign, and yes I am a DS supporter.

A bunch of haters. The guy spent time to collect money for a cause, and its working.

Stop hating; if you dont think its a worthy cause donate for something else. I am not paying for it, but I am not gonna rag on him/

All 'hating' aside...if this was so noble wouldn't he collecting more for the charity than for the billboards?

Also isn't he essentially panhandling for money to give to a charity? Is that still considered philantropic?

Anyway...I'm indifferent to the efforts here but I would be interested to see if the goal is reached.

Yes. Please see the cost break down, I show the companies I will be using. I have talked to everyone and made all arangments that need to be done in order to get the ads put up (minus send them the money, as of yet).

If anyone wants to donate a decent amount of money I will be glad to send you all the names and contact info of the people Ive spoken with.

$365, almost 5% there....

I've only been a fan for 25 years, but this team has to be the most ridiculous I've ever seen. What will be even more mind-numbing to me, than the last few weeks of the Skins offense, if Dan Snyder keeps making football decisions which he should never be making in the first place.

If he is successful, post pictures. I think his meddling is a royal waste of time/money,
but some people think he can be successful.

'93-'94 and '02-'03 were worse. I've been a proponent of DS hiring a better GM. There is no way in hell DS will sell the team.

The "Sell OUR team" thing is a bit melodramatic and will have absolutely zero effect on anything that goes on in Redskin Park. But it's a free country. Good luck with the effort.

Yeah he is not selling this team. And what effect it has...dont know, but at least DS will know that fans are unhappy enough to actually do this will and this will at least grab his attention. The media will be all over it. May get him to think what is next, if they do this, maybe there willing to not buy merch, tune in, or come to games. Melodramatic, yep a little. Dont stop doing your game reviews, there good

Yeah cause the half empty stadium on Sunday, this coming Monday, and the boos certainly don't get his attention.

Not to beat a dead horse, but Thanksgiving/Christmas are coming up. do you know how many homeless shelters, foster homes and juvenile centers could use $8,000 and really make a difference at this time of the year?

Danny boy is worth a few billion he can handle that, as for us we are doing this and we are up to 445 right now.

Re: Sell OUR Team Danny Boy - DC Metro Bus Ads

I don't quite get the assumption that selling the team would make things better anyway. I mean I get it he's the "worst owner in sports" but are you telling me that every potential buyer would be better?

Maybe we'd get an owner who doesn't want to invest any money on the team, maybe we'd get one who actually wants to coach the team like Ted Turner tried with the Atlanta Braves (if I remember right), maybe we'd even get one who wants to move the team

Re: Sell OUR Team Danny Boy - DC Metro Bus Ads

Do you get full use of the billboard or will there also be space for CBS to promote the Lavar and Chad show (or whatever it's called) on 106.7 FM The Fan?

The approved message will read "Sell OUR Team Danny Boy". They do however; require us to say something along the lines of paid for by individual fans of the Redskins in small print.

The are very pro free speech. They recently ran a "atheist ad" and do controversial ads.

Also the reason why we decided on the bus ads was due to billboards being outrageously expensive in the DC area (25-40k). Flying a plan with a banner is several thousand only last one day, one time. Put adds on trucks is several hounded a day and is only on 1 truck. Basically the cost of 10 buses for 4 weeks was by far the most "economical" thing to do.

$453! Over 5%

Keep it coming!
