Re: NFL Players Weigh In On Haynesworth Situation
Think of how great of shape AH could have been in had he not spent the first months of the off-season gaining nearly 15 pounds

Re: NFL Players Weigh In On Haynesworth Situation
I think it is a good report.
Doesn't Haslett want the DE around 326. Maybe that is what he is working to get close to. I don't know juswt throwing it out there. Want the guy to come in shape and be ready to play football. Nothing more nothing less.

Re: NFL Players Weigh In On Haynesworth Situation
He's trying to slim down since Derrick Fisher took that 3 year deal to stay in LA, he probably thinks he has a shot at playing the point. I can see it now. Fat Al dishes a no look pass to LeBron for a jam. Poetry.

he should be thankful that they'll move him around a bit because they may use him a bit more situationally and he'll get some breaks here and there rotating out with guys like Golston, Daniels, Kemoeatu, etc |

With the money he's being paid there's no way he's going to sit. Come opening day I look for him to be in the starting line-up.

Personally, I think he'll be damaging his career (further) if he holds out during training camp and into the season. Honestly, at this point I don't care what he does or what is said about him now, because as someone has said he just need to show up for training camp and get to work.

Re: NFL Players Weigh In On Haynesworth Situation
I hear ya. I don't want a guy who just went on a diet to lose wieght or a guy who ate alot to put on wieght. We want good conditioned guys who are ready to play 45-60 plays a game. Of course if our D plays really well then the guys don't have to be on the field for very long!
I'll take a 2008 version of AH on my team. He can change games. Maybe he will be motivated to show the league he is still a beast and not a bum that most are calling him out to be right now.
