Don't waste your breath. I doubt his/her mind is changing.

Haslett didn't change because he wasn't scared about Kolb's deep threat or running game. So he let him dink and dunk all day knowing he didn't have the ability to beat us. Furthermore, he figured blitzing will only provide a quick first option for Kolb. He rather let Kolb sit and try to make a decision, which were nearly game costing at times(Los near pick, etc.). You seriously think Haslett didn't consider blitzing lol? That would be more concerning than the Skins defense, IMO.

I am expecting an ignore of this reply.

When you come out and say it he can't ignore it. Stop putting him in a corner.

I got a question, why is our offense great in the first quarter, and then disappears in the rest of the game?

The difference is Bradford is better. Kolb stinks and had no confidence. Remember when he first entered the game and dropped the ball? So if they had just immeditely went after him he wouldn't have jhad time to hit no one.

I'm not saying blitz on every pass play just ocassionally on 3rd and long.

Or let Kolb try to beat us, which he failed to do and shouldnt have even had the chance to throw the last minute hail mary(los).

Look our team held the Eagles to 12 points and shutdown their star wideouts. And we got the W. If anything you should be upset at Los for dropping the pick, some playcalling and McNabb for running out of bounds when he could have pretty much killed the game.

Blitzing is not the only answer. The idiots on TV would like you to believe that, but it's not true.

I agree about Mcnabb but I think he was so focused on getting the 1st down and lost sight of the fact he could have stayed in bounds. And yes the game could have been over if los had held on to the INT.

I wear if Avant had caught that TD pass I would have been throwing up all night

Yep. We won and DeSean Jackson finished with 19 yards; Maclin with 15. This was with McCoy hurt and the Eagles playing from behind since our first drive. The Eagles' RBs accounted for 158 RECEIVING yards and we held them to just 110 rushing yards, thanks mostly to sending Vick to the hospital. Our running game worked though, 169 yards rushing.

How can anyone be unhappy with these facts?

Actually, blitzing when we should have been playing the pass, probably contributed a lot to our losses against Houston and St. Louis. I'm glad Haslett has found some discipline in using the blitz.

Did anyone else besides me almost have a STROKE on the last play of the game?
Maybe we should have mixed a few in here and there. But the main reason is we can't cover!

Why is everyone bitching? Maclin 1 catch Jackson 2 catches. I think that means we can cover

Re: Question that needs an answer before the night is over

why didnt we blitz as much?

imo for all the reasons previously stated as well as the fact that we jumped to an early 14-0 lead and with the running game controling the clock, why go blitz heavy and run the risk of quick scores or getting into a shoot out?

im just guessin thoo, only saw bits and pieces of the game.

Philly was super aggressive in the second half...run blitzes were coming from everywhere. McNabb missed at least 3-4 throws bad and then just completely on the wrong page with guys the other times. He struggled horribly the second half. The playcalling seemed to get very conservative. Lots of boots which were covered 95% time the 2nd half. Adjustments were made by Philly, I think Shanny and Kyle went conservative to protect the lead...which I ok with at the very end of the game, but early/middle of the 3rd? I didnt like that
