Re: How Did We Go This Long Without A New Haynesworth Thread?
You'll be waiting at least another two to three year. He is still an NFL caliber player at a position that is not always easy to fill. As long as AH can play a team somewhere will want him. This alleged traffic altercation is not worthy of being banished from the NFL.

Also, I think his next team will be his last go around in the NFL too. No team is going to bring in a headache that doesn't perform. At least with TO, you knew he was going to show up and perform. AH doesn't even do that and still gives you the problems. My co-worker keeps saying "yup, you were right about this one from the get go" to me at work when his name came up. I knew it was going to blow up in our faces with all the red flags out there. |

Kinda disgusting the latest national redskins headlines have been player stab at a club at 3 in the morning and assult charges filed against skins player in a road rage incident. Im not accessing blame, but im just saying not good from an organizational standpoint.

Re: How Did We Go This Long Without A New Haynesworth Thread?
Honestly, if Shanahan truly wants to change the culture of this team, he should not care about getting money back and just get rid of the guy. I know it is a LOT of money, but they just need to cut their loses. I feel that they've been wanting to salvage this situation (getting money or picks back) but this just need to go away.

I think most people don't understand Shanny's stance. It's goes something like this. If you come here and accept our money, be prepared to play. If not, I'm going to put you in football exile to rot. Otherwise, you open yourself up to other free agents to come get paid, loaf/bullshit and get cut so they can continue their careers on another team. Him being cut is exactly what he wants. You don't give a player like that what he wants. Putting him into exile is worse. |
