NFC South is now tougher then the SEC. Ryan, Brees, Freeman, Newton. Thats scary.

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Okay why is the NFL playing music like it's some sort of Night Club. Are they trying to prepare the rookies for clubbing at the NFL level?

I don't know, that might actually backfire -- you remember Andre Smith last year?

Dirtbag, you may need to get on the phone and invite Jimmy Clausen over for the party. My guess is he could use it.

Ehh it might bum him out. We're doing a line everytime a QB gets selected.

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Thank god Shanny won't have a chance to pick up Newton -- I hope he stays injury free but he's doomed in Carolina

Thats a long list of negatives for the top overall pick...I remember a month ago when he was projected to go at ten to us...

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Dude, GMs are totally guessing I would say 90% of the time. There is no such thing as a guarantee.

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
I know there isn't any guarantees beyond death and taxes. However, there are degrees on risk with each person on the board. The #1 spot isn't a place to take a guy who has a insane amount of high risk to him. It's a position you need to guy to basically step in right away and improve your team. Cam is too much of a risk at that particular spot. Now you are going to have to give him 55mil guarantee now.
