Re: 2011 NFL Season: Bold Predictions Thread
Michael Vick will miss at least 6 games.
Jon Kitna will play more games than Romo. Dallas will finish in last place, edging out the Giants by one loss. Redskins will win the NFC East, 11-5. Eagles will finish 9-7. NJ will be 7-9 and Dallas does the 6-10 dance again. Donovan McNabb will be benched by Week 6. Lions will win the NFC North. Panthers will earn another #1 pick. John Beck will have more TD passes than Eli Manning and Alex Smith combined.

Re: 2011 NFL Season: Bold Predictions Thread
First off, I love this thread, and although I am normally more of a lurker then poster, I have decided to get in on some of this....
Redskins Predictions 1. John Beck and Rex Grossman each start at least 6 games 2. Skins finish in the Top 10 in rushing, Helu leads the team with 900 yards 3. Terrance Austin leads the team in Receiving Yards 4. Ryan Kerrigan has finishes with more sacks then Orakpo 5. Skins finish 7-9, losing 5 games by less then a touchdown, mostly do to an inability to pick a starting quarterback, agonizing Skins fans for another season. NFL Predictions 1. Arian Foster and Chris Johnson combine for 800 rushing yards 2. 49ers, Panthers and Bills win 8 games combined 3. The Bears finish last in the NFC North, one year after being in the NFC Championship 4. Mike Kafka makes at least one start for the Eagles 5. Peyton Manning wins the MVP, starting all 16 games 6. Danny Amendola leads the league in receptions 7. Kevin Kolb makes the pro bowl 8. Philip Rivers breaks the the single season passing yardage record (5,137) 9. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the South 10. James Harrison doesn't get fined one time this season |

Re: 2011 NFL Season: Bold Predictions Thread
Thank you, Lotus.
If it all goes to plan the winnings will immediately offset the cost incurred by the trip to Super Bowl XLVI. I could be at Lucas Oil Stadium riding the psychological roller-coaster of a lifetime, sport-wise. I've ridden others..... <nonchalant_whistle> |

LIONS win the NFC North.
Albert Haynesworth will not crack the Pats starting lineup. Josh Freeman named Pro Bowl MVP.

I think a bold prediction would be the opposite of this.

Not for those Bostonians, who are deluding themselves quite deeply.
