I honestly don't think we have a prayer at Luck, even if we lose out (he's gonna be a Colt or Dolphin). I'm really high on Landry Jones. I think he's gonna be a stud in the NFL.

I strongly disagree about not being able to get Luck. This team is going nowhere fast. Luck is not out of the question. When it comes to Jones and Barkley I would be more than happy go get either guy. But to be honest, I think RG3 is better than both. He's more mobile and more accurate than both guys. I'm a big time college football fan and this guy is clearly the best fit for what we do.

Im figuring we will pick around 10 again and the only player with consideration outside one of the QB would be Justin Blackmon, but the Rams will be takin him at 3 or 4. Who else do you like?

You can't rebuild without a QB. We have to get one

Even if we lose out, it's looking like it will be hard to beat out the Dolphins or Colts for the top pick.

Colts are gonna be the wildcard. They could be the trade partner. Rams too

Yes.

Want me to use Adrian Peterson instead? Chester Taylor is almost forgotten now. How long has it been since that pick in 2007? A little more than 4 years.

I'm sure Luck is a no brainer pick for just about every team, but every now and then a team does something really stupid, so who knows. Still, I think we can come out of next year's draft with a talented QB.

Re: Positions Which Need to Be Addressed

an interesting notion the sports reporters put out there last week was that as skins fans you should be praying the rams win the luck sweepstakes.

Their collective theory was that the rams would then draft luck and make bradford available whom mike was in love with but couldnt pry the 1st pick away from them 2 years ago.

but it looks like the colts and dolphins are really really sucking this year.

Wow...no one here has been talking about the Rams getting Luck and the Redskins trading for Bradford...

the sarcasm is strong in you . . . ive been pretty much not paying attention to the luck talk till about 3 mins ago.

everything i read in this thread has been about drafting a qb, not trading for bradford. carry on

I would love for that to happen. But as of right now I feel like it's too early to tell who's going to end up where. There are four teams right now that have a legit shot at the first pick (Colts, Dolphins, Cards, Rams) and I only count the Cards because of record, but I do think they won't finish with one of the absolute worst records in the league. As of right now we have the 10th worst record in the league, so we'd have to lose a lot more games if we were to finish in the top ten.

According to NFL.com, these are the 10 worst teams in the league, in order with everything considered.

Redskins 3-4
Broncos 2-5
Seahawks 2-5
Panthers 2-6
Jaguars 2-6
Vikings 2-6
Cards 1-6
Rams 1-6
Colts 0-8
Dolphins 0-7

Long story short, there's a long ways to go before we can start talking draft order and things of that nature. With that said, out of the 4 1-win teams I'm rooting for the Rams to lose out, because I would take Bradford just as much, if not moreso, than I would take one of the qb's in this draft.

how can we rank better than the Panthers? that's nonsense.
