I'd honestly be happy with any of those guys. I really like Miller along with Turbin if we're talking guys that can be workhorse types, Miller reminds of Portis a bit. James seems more like a change of pace 3rd down guy. I think I'd lean toward Turbin if I had a choice.

Re: Who Will The Redskins Draft (Post Your Mock Draft Here)

Round 1: RGIII QB Baylor
Round Trade down later in the 3rd: Phillip Tomas S Syracuse
Round 4 Ben Jones OG Georgia
Round 4:Ryan Broyles WR Oklahoma
Round 4:Casey Hayward CB Vanderbilt
Round 5:Chris Rainey RB/WR Florida
Round 6:Vontaze Burfict ILB Arizona St
Round 7:George Bryan TE NC State

I think that we will trade down to acquire more picks in the 3rd round. I know I have some questionable characters on my draft but they hired Phillip Daniels for a reason.

I can see maybe rolling the dice on one character concern, but not multiple guys.

That said I'd rather keep with last year's type of draftee, 4 year starter, high character kids, team captains, etc.

1st: Robert Griffin III QB, Baylor
3rd: Mitchell Scwhartz OT, Cal
4th: Robert Turbin RB, Utah State
4th: Ryan Broyles WR, Oklahoma
5th: Alfonzo Denard CB, Nebraska (falls due to arrest)
6th: Bobby Wagner ILB, Utah State
7th: Cliff Harris CB/PR, Oregon

or

1st: Robert Griffin III QB, Baylor
3rd: LaMichael James RB, Oregon
4th: Ryan Broyles WR, Oklahoma
4th: Donald Stephenson OT, Oklahoma
5th: Phillip Thomas S, Syracuse
6th: Andrew Datko OT, Florida St.

Turbin reminds me of a faster, more elusive, less stupid LaGarette Blount. Or a poor mans Trent Richardson.

So if we go Turbin, do you think Helu starts with Turbin spelling him or vice-versa?

Depending on if Turbin blocks well or not, I could see Turbin starting with Helu spelling him because he seems like more of a complete back to me. I do love Helu a lot and i would hope he still gets a lot of touches but I just feel Turbin would start in that circumstance.

Good question, it would be a good battle in camp. Helu might have the early leg up over a rookie though.

Hightower starts, Royster backs him up (possibly ultimately starting)

Helu is the change of pace playmaker/RB to be Named backs up Helu

Royster ultimately emerges as the starter? You're kidding, right? Royster is a plodder. If you want three yards and a cloud of dust, then go with Royster because there will be no breakaway runs. Just say no to Royster. We need a better starter than that.

Among the current backs on the roster, and I'm including Hightower, no I'm not kidding. Have said it since last summer, the Shanahans love...LOVE Royster.

I like Royster. You are correct that he is not a breakaway back in any sense. But he and Helu together give us a nice smash and dash.

He averaged almost 6 per carry last year, just saying

jeez i hope not. Dont get me wrong I love Hightower but if we get a James or Turbin, I would hope we wouldnt bring back Hightower. Im gonna say depth chart at RB:

1. Royster
2. Helu
3. Turbin/James
