Basically one of them is gone for the start of 2017. Possibly both. Of course if DJax has durability concerns than he will be gone. If he stays relatively healthy though he is the keeper of the two. He isnt going to slow down that much that quick. Hell he could actually lose a step and still be faster than most of the guys on the field.

With the Norman signing we got the D jump started. I really like this pick. Think about it ..how many of you are tired of D Jax drama? think he will skip mini camp now ? folks were calling for his head last year with the selfish punt return drama. I believe that Scott will get the Dline help we need in the next few days..Signing Josh Norman was like having 2 number one picks. there is not a college CB coming into this draft who would be better than him next year. PLUS we got a top WR ..whats not to like!!

I'm more concern about DJax durability than any so called "drama." His trademark is speed, and as Matty said, he'll likely lose a step pretty soon.

Yeah I don't get it either.

DJax first year with the Skins had 13 receptions of 40+ yards. 13. Doubled up the next guy. Was injured last year, but I think experience and scheme can make up for a lost step. Usually naturally fast dudes don't just stop being fast. You cant just go out and find another Desean.

Out of the two, Jackson is also the one most likely to be worth a round pick in a trade (if there is market).

What about Garcon's lack of production?

72 catches and 6 TDs as the #2 receiving option is bad production?

Of course it is. We're paying him to be a number 1! If he's paid to be the top guy he should produce like the top guy. Even if he isn't. All of them are being paid. They should all produce like the top guy. 100/1500/10 for everyone!

I thought Garcon had a big bounce back season...completely impressed last year. I will never forget the game winning catch against the Eagles: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...uchdown-catch/

Garcon is still a bad ass.

What about Crowder, 58 catches as a rookie? Folks Im feeling good about receiver.

He had 72 catches but didn't come close to cracking 1000 yards. That is what I call mediocrity. Her had a few alright games here and there but most of the season he was a average wr who struggled to get separation.

So what about DJ's "lack of production"? He barely cracked 500 yards.

I, for one, welcome our new WR overlord.

Love the pick.

Re: Redskins 1st Round Pick: WR Josh Doctson (TCU)

I'm thinking the Norman signing gave us the luxury of taking the BPA/WR.
I wanted Eli Apple all along anyways....
So now we have two young WRs (Doctson/Crowder) *Check*
As others have stated I gotta believe our next pick or picks is a DT.
This didnt go how I thought but I feel a lot better about our offense right now.

Apple might turn out to be great for the Giants, but damn, I think it was so stupid to pass on Hargreaves.
