Re: Post game
Guys y'all need to calm down on this kirk bullshit. First of all if it wasn't for him we wouldn't even be a playoff contender in the first damn place.
Reed goes down. Kirk balls out still. TW out 4 weeks.. Kirk plays good to great still. No run game at all for most games.... Kirk still shines. Fucking joke of a defense... Still a top 5 offense. Who else we gonna get?? Kirk is not the problem. Last night he didn't play great, but my God he has to be damn near flawless every game to win, shit isn't that easy. He's not Brady or Manning. Re: Post game
I have to give some of you credit you do seem to think very positive!! I just don't see anyway this team wins at Chicago or Giants..what am I missing? and to even talk about playoffs reminds me of Jim Mora..playoffs...PLAYOFFS..1/2 the fans think Coach's should be fired, cousins sucks..etc and the other thinks we still deserve the playoffs.. The team I watched last night suck! We can't beat teams that have been eliminated from playoffs for weeks to get ourselves into post season..what am I missing? Cousins is the only bright spot On this team and finally the weight was to much..same for Norman ..they really are the Top 2 players on this team ..in fact I would trade our entire roster except those two for The Browns Roster minus RGIII and we would be a better team. any one else agree??

We can certainly win at the Bears. We have won 7 games so it happens. Lol. I think the Gints will be locked in to a seed the last week so they may rest their starters. If TB loses one and Dallas beats Detroit than we would be in. Greenbay plays Detroit the last week and someone has to lose. If Detroit beats Dallas, than we would have to have them beat GB. We can easily back our way into the playoffs by beating the Bears and a second string Giants squad. That being said Atlanta will probably roast us. However Ill indulge in one more kool aid cocktail if given the opportunity. |

Chicago just lacks talent. The Panthers disrupted our offense by getting a push up the middle, you don't see the Bears having a strength anywhere on defense like that where you say gee that's a problem for our offense. But we have no reason to believe Eli won't carve us up. And their defense has gotten so much better. Their DBs and our WRs, that's a fair fight.

Re: Post game
I made the Cleveland comment based on How bad the Team played last night ..Of course we are better than The Browns but if we waive every player that folks say we should then we may as well switch with the Browns. My concerns are this ..on the offense we Have Cousins not even signed long term..we have our best O lineman on his second drug suspension, Our best TE is injury prone, we benched Matt Jones who we drafted high.. may not keep Djax,Garcon our Number 1 pick has not been seen (injury)..Need a center..all this from the supposed strength of the team. Our kicker has not been great..folks are calling out our coaches and now we move on to the Defense which very well may be the worst in league..we have 4 players on the D that I say are really good..Norman,Kerrigan,Baker,Cravens the rest are average ..so even though my comment about the Browns was in jest we are by no means a top tier team. and we are surprised when we lose to the super bowl Panthers? this team is the classic half full/half empty situation.

Re: Post game
Kirk himself has played well enough to win 10-12 games if he had half a defense and a serviceable run game.

Re: Post game
I do agree with this, but that still isn't an excuse for last night. Basically it looked like he went into John Beck mode after he threw the pick. He did not look like a franchise QB last night at all. Sometimes i just wish the guy had a little more Jamies Winston or Drew Brees in him. What I mean by that is have a more of a I dont give a F if I throw another pick attitude and take more chances.

Re: Post game
Every body needs to calm the F down. It's a WEEK TO WEEK league. It is still the same team that beat GB, and the Giants in NY, and Philly twice, and the Vikings...
I'll take the 2016 Redskins over any Redskins team from the last 6 years. Who would seriously not?

Re: Post game
It can be. I think people go a bit overboard. Sure Kirk had a bad game, but he's still the best thing that's come through this franchise in a long while. I still have my quirks with him, but not signing him long term would be foolish.
I will say this though, McVay and Barry still a lot to prove, and I would rather move on from Barry. As Schneed noted, not one player is playing above his potential out there and that's not a good sign of a good coach.

Re: Post game
It isn't.just a loss, it is a pattern that isn't.very encouraging. We had our destiny back in our own hands and blew it in an epic way. If we played well and lost, that would be not that bad, but to come out flat in a game with playoff implications isn't good.
