It's not about the Eagles game for me. I've been done with Gruden for a long time. Deep down, I think we all know that he isn't going to get us where we want to be. I'm ready for a complete rebuild with a new HC.

Re: How Long Will Jay Gruden Last This Season as Head Coach?

Desean Jackson has some thoughts on Gruden:

"We came out and started off slow and struggled, but not one moment in that game I didn’t think we were going to come out and win that game. I kept stressing to the boys when we came in the locker room that I have been over there before in that locker room and I know how they are," Jackson said of the Redskins. "I just stressed to my teammates that I felt that at halftime, they probably thought they had the game sealed and won."

Jackson, remember, played with the Redskins for three seasons from 2014 to 2016 and Jay Gruden was the head coach. Jackson really does know the Redskins locker room because he was a big part of it. And the speedster explained he wasn't trying to take a shot at his old coach or teammates, but was just explaining the reality of a big halftime lead in Washington.

"We just knew that coming into the locker room that it is just a mentality thing. My past five-six years being gone is what I miss, that being part of a team and organization that is just known for winning," Jackson said.

"Regardless of the score and how many points you are down, there is always a chance you can win the game. Being in that locker room, I just know how they are, not saying anything bad about them, that is just how they are.”

As damaging as Jackson's play Sunday was to the Redskins, and he torched the Redskins with eight catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns, his postgame comments might be more dire.

Jackson played for the Redskins a few seasons ago, and it's clear he doesn't think that the organization was known for winning. And as hard as it is to hear for many, he's right. Washington hasn't made the playoffs in the last three seasons, and only has two playoff games in the last decade. The Redskins haven't won a playoff game since 2005. As much as the Redskins have a proud history, with shiny Super Bowl trophies and Hall of Fame players, consistent success hasn't been the case in Washington for more than two decades.

So when Jackson says "I just know how they are, not saying anything bad about them, that is just how they are," he's not trying to take a shot. He's just telling the truth.

Someone needs to tell Moses to stop holding.
Big mouth always making excuses about the league having grudges.
He is killing this team with his penalties.

Read this somewhere: If The Redskins do not make the playoffs this year it will be the fourth year in a row with no playoffs.
That usually gets people fired.
Yesterday was the same poorly coached team with talent we have seen the last handful of years under Gruden coached teams. No brilliant coaching, no balance in play calling, no creative adjustments to counter the other teams adjustments. The other team adjusts and we do not.
Manusky is terrible. One of the worst Defensive Coordinators we have ever had.
The players that lost their jobs last year to voice against Manusky we’re right.
But single biggest coaching failure is deactivating Adrian Peterson, going up by 17 or 20 points and only rushing the ball 13 times for 38 yards. Guice averaged 1.8 yards a carry.
Can someone tell me why AP was inactive?

AP was the 5th or 6th in rushing yards last year...its fucking criminal. AP should have been given a chance to run against the Eagles, because Guice wasn't getting it done.

I have one big problem with Gruden/Manusky - there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY for missed assignments. No question that both Jackson TD's involved someone blowing the coverage. Norman had no safety help on the first and Nicholson was the only defender deep with 2 Philly receivers running free on the second. Guys who won't play their assignment need to be benched. DO YOUR JOB!!!

If they keep doing what they did yesterday,he'll be gone after the New England game, which is not soon enough for me..this guy should stay an offensive coordinator because he's not a head coach.

If you're going to have AP on the roster then you simply have to active him. If he isn't going to be active then just move on from him.

The head coach should always have control over the roster. And with that comes accountability.

WTF do we need with a 34 year old RB?? As soon as Guice was cleared medically they should have dumped Peterson. He did a great job last year and was one of the few bright spots but 2018 is long over with.

Riggins was 34 when had a career year. He was 35 when he lead the NFL in running TD's.
A very few excellent athletes can continue to be very good at that age.
TE Vernon Davis is 35 that scored a great TD yesterday . While a younger Jordan Reed can not stay on the field.
