Re: Around the NFL Week 2
Sorry to say, but Lamar Jackson is just a glorified running back. He's going to get hurt sooner than later with all the running he does.

I'll cry if we lose to the Falcons.

Re: Around the NFL Week 2
While I am not comparing WFT to the Chiefs, the two play 75yd TD drive by Heinike looked effortless. Far too easy for many Giants fans lol. That is the sort of QB play we have been missing for some time, the ability to strike quickly. Offensively I like the way we look right now, just run the ball a bit more.

Heinicke could be great - if he can make those plays every week and stay healthy too. He just has to prove it.

Re: Around the NFL Week 2
Been saying it as well, he's RG3 with just stronger legs.. In fact Griffin may have been the more accurate thrower

Re: Around the NFL Week 2
After 2 weeks, Derek Carr has to be the early MVP fave... That dude is straight balling. He'll cool off I'm sure but good for him

Re: Around the NFL Week 2
Just a bit of a musing after seeing some of the action so far, but there don't seem to be any 'complete' teams at this point. Caroline and Denver have been consistent but very reliant on their D's, TB have come out offensively pretty much how they ended last year but their D is looking weaker (25 points to the Falcons?) and the other 2-0 teams all have had their struggles. I'm wondering if the reduction to 3 PS games and/or the 2 weeks gap after the 3rd PS game has made a difference?
