Ramsey stayed in for nearly the entire first half...long after Carolina had pulled their starters. The point was that Ramsey just didn't look comfortable, and I personally feel the starting QB should show some sense of being comfortable. He looked "rushed" when he wasn't. Yeah, most of those passes were to the dump off receivers. On a side note, both Mark Brunell and Jason Campbell played quite well.

Re: Ramsey and Brunell Trading Places???
We didn't have our full offense in....as many pointed out we didn't do much with our running game which will help to set up the pass. But Ramsey continues to hold on to the ball too long..........Brunell was going against 2nd stringers.......so it's too early to start a QB controversey.............I loved our shotgun plays.........

Re: Ramsey and Brunell Trading Places???
Ramsey disappointed me but he is the starter i don't want Brunnell in there. Campbell can actually throw outs and he is far more accurate and deliberate in his decision making thats crazy. he is a rookie Ramsey just don't have it. I know its the first preseason game I was just looking for Ramsey to pretend like he knew what he was doing he is still trying his heart out but he just don't have the talent. It's put up or shutup Joe Gibbs can't go into the season with a rookie QB but if Ramsey looks stupid the first half of the Chicago game bring in Brunnell and the same for Dallas we might have to pull him in and out. it dont make no sense how idiotic he looked. I dont care about what player is playing against scrubs just execute the offense he had plenty of time he just got two left feet.

Re: Ramsey and Brunell Trading Places???
I voted Ramsey - gotta stick with him until/unless the season's lost or you've lost all credibility as a coach and organization. Players just want to be treated fairly and given their shots on the field. A multi-season QB competition benefits no one, least of all the front office. Campbell will have his shot down the road.

It's simple. It's too early.
