He's 34 but has been very consistent, I would offer him a 1 year deal.

Fletcher, D. Bell, and Porter in that order... Singning Fletcher and T. Porter or Aaron Ross would be enoughto fill our needs at ILB and CB; RT can wait until the 3rd round, and a slot WR that can return punts and kickoffs (T.Y. Hilton, FIU) can be addressed in the 4th, same goes for the FS position.

It seems that Bell's release caught a lot of ppl by surprise.

So what in the world is going on with London Fletcher? Is he coming back or what?! My guess, BOLD guess is that maybe were moving on without him and continuing on with youth movement.

It would make sense with the rest of the moves. As much as I want him back it would be puzzling if he was resigned with the direction they have gone in so far.
But I guess there is still a spot for a veteran with Fletchs type of leadership on a young team.

I hope Bruce Allen sat down with him, thanked him for being what the Skins look for, showed him a Very Good offer sheet, told him we really want him back, but understand his desire to look at other teams, and now we(the Skins) are letting him come to his own decision. I hope he comes back here, but you have to be able to let older players decide their own end.

Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker

I'm surprised Ross got a three year deal.

He would have been a decent pickup for us and he is a better pickup for Jacksonville, but if you had made me guess, I would have predicted that 2/6 would have been about the ceiling on his earnings. That's not to suggest Jacksonville overpaid, but it's a longer contract that I thought he'd get.

Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker

3yr 15 mil for Ross, a 30 yr old CB is just too much... glad we didn't overpay, but it would've been nice had he signed here...

Tracy Porter is still available, which to me is surprising.

Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker

I saw on Twitter that Kory L. signed his tender. Are there any other RFAs left to sign? I know one of them was Gano.
