Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Never say never, who's to say if Bezos came with a strong offer Snyder wouldn't listen? Plenty of sources say Dan isn't very liquid and most of his worth is tied up in the team. Definitely wouldn't rule it out.

Bezos loves DC and would probably favor owning the Skins. He could have easily bought the Panthers. . . But then he hadn't really settled onto the post-Seattle phase of his life then either. He should just buy the entire NFL, LOL. Also, he is pouring GOBS into his rocket company, and may favor that more than an NFL team at present. On the other hand, he also just retired from main running of Amazon responsibilities, so would have time to enjoy NFL team. . . |

Think of all the stories over the years. The ice cream. The not looking him in eyes. The Mr. Snyder. The stop and salute in his house when he walks by. The charging for practices. The suing season ticket holders. Etc. Etc. Etc. The reason the Skins have been bad for so long is the THE DAN is just a pirate, captain pump and run. He doesn't know how to build anything honest or lasting. He cashed in on one gigantic pyramid of fraud, give him credit for that, but has NO IDEA how to build anything honest and good long term. Twenty years into owning the team, it just occurs to him that we need a coach-centric culture? LOL. LOL. What we need is any culture that doesn't involve him. He's liquid enough to own a 9-figure yacht, LOL. All he wants to do is travel on that, eat good and feed his man tits and keep them plump, and enjoy the Skins during offseason from yachting. He has nothing else to offer the world except fraud and deceit and exploitation and treating people abusively, and he certainly knows this deep in his heart. Look how poorly he is aging, in moments of clarity, he must think of what a turd he has been to people, especially the whole don't look him in the eyes, guy thinks he's a f-ing Roman Emperor. He will never sell unless he suffers some catastrophic loss of wealth that makes him think his son can't keep the team, which is highly improbable, especially having borrowed $450M to have total ownership. He'll pay that off in about a decade, and then be rolling in cash. Never Bezos level cash, but enough to have to never sell for sure. He just sits back and watches the cash roll in. . . His son will probably have to sell a minority interest to pay the estate taxes, unless THE DAN can perhaps shift assets to secrecy jurisdictions or front companies and escape taxation. |

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Dan isn't going anywhere now, maybe the investigation was joke from the start, maybe it simply didn't get enough to force him out... either way the NFL wouldn't back him up so strongly and then have him sell the team.
The only positive from this is we may finally get to have a team name. I do think the possibility he may have to sell was a big reason in the delay, cuz the opportunity to rebrand would have increased the value of the franchise even more.

More importantly, he capitulated and changed the name, tossed out a sexist broadcaster and brought in a woman, and hired two (for the record: very competent) African-Americans for the front office. All things considered, Danny is the poster boy for Woke Victory. We fans are the losers. We have lost our name and still have him. |

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Sucks because I'd love to see them play but going to a Bills game in December is BRUTAL

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Agreed, not a bad way to add one game. Just a shame that our tough schedule just got tougher

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Wow, playing the Bucs, Chiefs, Bills, Chargers, Saints.
Not too worried about the Saints without Brees, but at least w also get Atlanta, Carolina, Denver, Las Vegas along with out own division opponents.

If they win the division again, they will have earned it for sure.

Consider the Cowboys get Minnesota, Arizona, and NE The Giants get Chicago, LAR, and Miami Next season's NFC East champ has a tough road regardless although Philly with the 4th place schedule gets the easier games for 2 of those 3 - Lions, SF, and NYJ. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |
