Why is there so much talk of Romo and the Redskins? The guy is one hit away from retirement. Anyone that thinks he can stay is smoking the same sticky ickey as Ian Rappaport. If Snyder brings Romo to Washington I will officially quit being a Redskins fan. I will also fly to Redskins park and let Snyder know he needs to stop making football decisions by kicking him in the balls. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Why would you want Romo? He would be nothing more than a stop gap and you would lose a first round pick. If this deal goes down we need the #2 pick to get the QB of our choice. If this deal goes down and we don't get any multiple picks and Romo goes down, Snyder will be toast. Folks are really getting tired of the constant drama, the dumb moves, etc. If all of this goes down and 2017 is the end of Gruden and co, Skins fans in DC need to do what Lions fans did here about 10 years ago and either don't show up or come in and wear those paper bags on their heads. That woke up the Fords to start trying to really build a winner. Have to hurt them in the pocketbook. Too many cool things to do in and around DC to justify putting up with that garbage. Damn Maryland had a good recruiting season, they will be making a bit of a comeback, and of course there is VA Tech. This is really getting old!!!!

A. When healthy and with our weapons and OL, he would light up the NFL and make us a damn good offense. B. Get a young gut under his wings for 2 years or even 1 year and let him coach the youngster up (like he did dak) Basically he's the best QB available, who else can we get?? Do you guys really want Colt starting and going 5-11?

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Dumbest rumor ever. In that case, just take the 2nd pick for yourself. Draft 2nd and 17th. Trade a later pick for AJ McCarron.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
i would agree with this 100% . . . AJ McCarron would be pretty good IMO . . . and we wouldn't be helping Dallas . . . no way this BS rumor happens.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Even if this rumor is fake its still another thing to make this organization look bad. Why do we have to deal with this shit every year?? The Redskins hands down are the worst organization with the worst owner.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
He'll stay for the right price...which I think is higher than he might agree to in other places

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Well, our vaunted FO and owner did treat him rather shabbily during the whole RG III drama and we could have signed him beforehand to a more cap friendly deal. He has the right to get what he is worth.

I think that's the first time I've heard about a player wanting a premium to stay with a team. Would that be unusual, or am I just ignorant about how stuff works in NFL personnel matters. |
